What I love about Mark's production is that even after years and 8M subs, it still feels like a young tuber on his adventure. No big production crew, no forced reactions, just raw footage, as if we were there with him experiencing the moment in real time.
And, he is using a big heavy camera without any crews. He is a real professional for shooting videos. He had been using GH5 for a long time. Now he seems using Sony FX3 which creates spectacular videos.
You can tell the chefs really take pride in the quality of their local produce be it vegetables, meat, wine and recipe's.The food looks sublime and can tell Mark really loved the ambiance and food judging by the number of umm's he made at almost every bite.
People tell me I’m stupid because i quit my job to smoke weed on my RU-vid channel & do what makes me happy, screw them. they gon be stuck in the same place forever, ima make it out!
I’m don’t know but I feel like mark has a wonderful and peaceful aura around him, you can literally feel so much love flowing from him in his demeanor.
Love these California vlogs. You’ve given me a lot of choices to go visit. Been watching since 1700 subscribers, so happy to see how popular you’ve become.
My grandma loves your videos and would always get ideas where to eat. She would play your videos almost 24/7. Even when she is asleep, I can hear your videos playing in the background. When she eats in her room, she also eats along with you. I take her out every week because she loves to eat and would always crave something from your videos. I was supposed to take her this weekend on one of the places you've shown in your videos. But two days ago she got very ill. Everything happened so suddenly. At this point, we are just waiting for her to go. But we are still playing your videos for her. Even if she cant open her eyes, she can hear your videos. Thanks for making these videos :) you've kept her entertained for a long time.
That's the most colourful, flavourful, eye-catching, salivating, worth-living brunch I've ever seen. The food just keep on coming! I'd finish it all and fast for the rest of the day!
@@MarkWiens How r u Mr Wiens, just wanted to ask when will you come to namibia in southern african... il be more than happy to recive and welcome yo to our beutiful country with diverse cultures and cuisine. Sunny (red bandana was here) we cant wait to see you in our country
I am proud to say I have been to all of these places. My husband was born and raised in St.Helena and I look forward to our trips each year back to his home town. I did not know about wine country before I met him and everyone seemed blown away when I mentioned where he was from and now I know why. We have been every season and my favorite is fall. The smell of the crushed grapes lingers in the fresh air and the colors of the valley are unforgettable. Spring is my second fav with the beautiful fields of mustard flowers and the ripening fruit trees on every corner.
I agree about the heavenly scent of crushed grapes! It's one of my favorite smells! I used to put the windows down on my way to rwork at the hospital in St. Helena each morning to enjoy it.
All so true, and you described it eloquently! I’m from the SF Bay Area and have had many visits to Napa & Sonoma over 40+ years, but I have to add, there is no time of the year that doesn’t have it’s own special ambience. I even love December and when you visit the wineries, there’s an excitement among the staff as they make preparations for their winery’s own special celebration each of them has for their staff, whom they treat like family. There are decorations and Christmas trees everywhere…we always just loved it. I love the end-of-harvest season, too, when it’s hot and dry, and there are still grapes here and there raisoning on the vines. It’s fun to discover the small bottle late harvest wines and find out what surprises they had this year. They are different each year- it depends on Mother Nature and what crops were right for late harvest wines. And then the dining in the outdoor settings when it cools earlier in the evening and the sun is setting as you enjoy your meal. There’s never a bad time to experience the rhythm of the seasons there. It’s all beautiful!
Mark, I was on a business trip in San Fran, I stopped by the Boon Fly Cafe because of your review. Absolutely phenomenal! The Eggs Benedict is probably the best I had in my life!
Ok this is a Trip!! I live here in Napa and my Very 1st job here was Cakebread Cellars!! Brian was a lot of fun to work with and is gifted with his cuisine. He does a cooking class that's a must!! Thank you for sharing a Family vineyard. Jack and Dolores are as real as it gets. RIP Delores💕
Mark! You’re such an inspiration! I’m from Santa Barbara, California and it was awesome for you to enjoy my hometown! I’m going to Brazil for the first time and I can’t wait to travel to Bahia and eat the best food ever! Such an inspiration you are and never stop being you!
Brazil has great food culture. in the big cities you can find a vast array of food from all over the world, as their big cities have a large immigrant community just like the U.S. and then every region in Brazil has a unique menu. in Bahia, it's the African - Portuguese mix. in Minas Gerais it's the colonial Portuguese influence. and the south of Brazil it's more of a European influence, Portuguese, Italian, German . enjoy your trip
I grow up in a wine making family, this video brought back childhood memories. I love Mark's videos, my cooking skills improved, when I eat I watch his video's, when I am sad, watch his video's to cheer up, before travelling check his video's what to see and eat. Thank you Mark!! :)
Beautiful video of Napa Valley, Mark! The foods and wine tastings looked absolutely insanely delicious and fresh! The drone shots of the vineyards and scenery were breathtakingly gorgeous! Enjoyed watching very much. I am originally from California so this touched my heart! 😊♥️
One of the best food vlogger I've known is Mark Weins. He travels with his family. Never criticizes any food and culture, instead he promotes it with love. May God continue to bless you and family Mark. You never fail creating valuable contents.
After Mark has been all over the globe he still visits restaurants in good ole Americana that I could see myself visiting. You could see Mark in Napa Valley then in South Philly my old stomping ground. Keep doing what you do brother I'll be watching.
Love how Mark made this video like a documentary of Napa Valley! Really enjoyed watching the wine tasting and cooking procedure (especially the mozzarella cheese melted my heart!) Thank you Mark, I learn a lot from your video as always!😊💕
Thank you Mark great Content. Im loving all the Cali videos. Im missing Home. The food in this video all look Scrumptious. Amazing food I wanted to jump in the screen….The passion the chefs had from every restaurant is great…such a classy atmosphere in NAPA. This is on my bucket list.
Looks like super classy, good ingredients and fresh nourishment. Amazing how Mark, is at home in Food Trucks, Auntie's Kitchen and Highend Restaurants. It's all GOOD Stuff.
I think this has to be one of my favorite videos that you’ve done that food looks incredible all of it from the beginning with the wine you can tell that that she’ll put his passion and his food.Omg and that breakfast I’m speechless 😶
The last place you visited Boon Fly Cafe sure did treat you right with what seems like the entire breakfast menu. Kudos to them for being such a wonderful host. Breakfast lunch is my favorite meal of the day and most important. The chef was wonderful and they had a very nice fresh garden of vegies and herbs to use in their food preparation. The other place which made fresh mozzarella looked good on that toasted Italian bread, and the homemade pizzas definitely looked delicious. It was interesting to see how he shaped and formed the cheese curds while it melted, yum.
This has to be my favorite video you’ve done yet, Mark! 😀 You definitely had me at wine pairings! Lol I enjoyed your enthusiasm about the dishes and the chefs passion for food. I couldn’t turn away.
TraVigne. Far removed from my college pizza joint (La Prima Pizza! in St Helena) as a college student at PUC in Angwin. Thanks Mark for rekindling these memories (although I know that so much has changed since I was a college student way back in the late 80's.
Hey mark, another great video. I’m pretty sure your viewers really appreciate the effort, time, and money you spend on making the best videos possible so you can entertain us, l know I do. Can’t wait for the next one. cheers.
@Larry Song The Santa Clara Valley has changed from the old days. Hidden Villa in Los Altos Hills & The Japanese Gardens in Saratoga are places you might find the old valley. "Silicon Valley " is something else. Check out Sonoma & Mendocino.

Oh my goodness that all looked so wonderfully delicious. What a great experience you must have had with your taste buds, yummy! Thanks to all that made this video possible.
Hey Mark I currently have Covid as of right now and can’t taste or smell a single thing! Your videos make me imagine how all these wonderful foods taste and your descriptions of the taste helps as well! Thanks for the constant uploads, its definitely helping me through this time!
Chef Nash was at an event we had for our winery! He was making the cheese right in front of us, best thing everr!!! Definitely was the most popular appetizer.
All of the food in this video looked incredible but the brunch at Boonfly and the chef at Compline Wineshop have me ready to pack my bags for a trip to Napa!
Napa Valley seems an amazing place, good food, good hospitality, and beautiful sceneries. Fresh food cooked with fresh ingredients are always the best. Loved it 👍
Hi Mark! I'm from Northern Cali, and Boon Fly Cafe is my ABSOLUTE favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Napa Valley! I was so excited to see that you went there, and got a plentiful sampling of all the brunch faves, esp the little donuts (a must-have, and I'm not usually much of a donut lover). Hope you had a wonderful visit!
I now have something new to add to my bucket list...Napa Valley! 🍇 I'm not much of a wine drinker, but I think if it was paired up with an appropriate food, I just might enjoy it! All of the food shown today looked incredible, my mouth was watering the whole time! The gardens were breathtaking! Thank you, Visit California & Visit Napa Valley, such an awesome video!!! 🌼
12:52 precious moment if you folks like mozzarella cheese 🧀✌️😊 31:24 I love eating fruits and vegetable but I still love beacon 😃 32:54 Mark Wien just signed off his approval 😆
I’m so pumped Tra Vigne lives on in a new pizzeria. We were eating at their original location for 20 plus years when ownership got into a tussle over rent. I’ll be visiting the new place in a week or so just to get their fresh mozz served on a wood fired crostini. You just experienced nirvana, Mark, and thanks for this epic journey you experienced. Thank you!
