Really nice job! :-) one suggestion maybe would be if you're doing the 3D print and sections and gluing it together like you do with the blades pieces I can see. one thing you could do so the seams don't show up in the final product would be to fill in the seams on the print itself with a 3D pen. Fill it right up over top of the seam then stand it down smooth so the seams are not showing and then it will not show up in a final casting. I don't do metal casting at all but I do use 3d pen to fill in seams on 3D prints that I print in sections. just an idea anyway :-) overall still good job!!

You should try adding some copper to make bronze with how decent your setup is coming along. Great work so far and just keep trying new things and it will lead to some failures but usually cool new things.

actually you should try to make the blade separately then the handle and then the handguard and then put them all together . it would look MUCH better and also in the future make a kusarigama , a japanese weapon

just one tinny suggestion: your work is awesome and very impressive, but i do think that of what you did picking the plastic model sword was the easiest thing (you could go in any toy store and look for something) and the one you picked is pretty much non real looking any sword with such huge blade would have a longer holder... i mean a real iron sword big like this would be too heavy to be holded with one hand, and your holder is to short to fit properly two hands

Can you do the handle in brass and the sword in aluminum? It'd give it a much nicer look and it'd be much better balanced too. That's part of the reason why they made the handles out of gold and the blade out of steel, it put much more weight into the handle making it more balanced (the optimal position for the center of mass should be where the blade meets the handle) and easier to handle than having the weight in the middle of the entire sword. (the optimal position for the center of mass should be where the blade meets the handle). Unfortunately, to do this you would have to make a tang on the sword and fit it into the handle whether by cooling down the tang and letting it expand in the handle or by using a strong adhesive like epoxy. I'm sure there are more than just those two but they're just ideas. All in all though, it's an amazing sword and an amazing work of art. There's no doubt that you have great skill so keep up the good work!

Cool idea oh, I've been working on a method to milk cans more efficiently with a larger amount of aluminum pounds per hour. Requiring less propane gas, this time, unless opening and closing The Forge Door or furnace door. If you wish I can share some of my findings and insight with you. Let me know
