What should we do in the next episode?

psst- a few corrections and tips! 1) that design is insanely impractical and mobs don’t always pathfind to the center where the trapdoors are- this creates a slower mob farm as they aren’t killed quickly, therefore taking up the hostile mob cap and you can’t do anything about it. i’d suggest a regular design for a hostile mob farm using redstone to power observers and dispensers that funnel in to your drop chute. also, light up nearby caves as they will also spawn mobs that contribute to the mob cap. 2) again, a mob farm that requires you to afk for long periods of time only to swing your sword for a few seconds is not practical at all- make sure it’s really efficient if you want to do that. 3) your afk platform is actually really dangerous. i suggest a platform and a roof made of non-spawnable blocks as to prevent other mobs and phantoms from spawning. non-spawnable also refers to lighting it up- i built a small hot air balloon over my mob farm as my afk platform with a campfire tucked into the roof and a carpet over it, which provides both light and aesthetics. 4) for this design you really didn’t need to make trapdoors- bottom slabs would have worked as well. 5) you can hold a tool with mending in your offhand to mend it as well- such as a shovel in your offhand and a sword in your main. this saves you the pain of hitting mobs with a shovel or an axe. 6) i probably should have mentioned this earlier, but if you’re running out of stone, make a stone generator! no, not the classic skyblock one, but one that can generate stone as well- they’re very simple and i recommend mysticat’s tutorial the most as some of them require pistons which i don’t understand in the slightest. mysticat’s can also be tucked away easily- mine is just hidden in a small cave and the only evidence of it are the collection chests and the sign. and some suggestions! 1) a great source of food in your world can actually be a cow entity crammer- these are incredibly simple and you can google a tutorial or just shove a ton of cows into a one-block space with a fence on top. how it works is that you have a two-deep hole with a hopper at the bottom and you can place water above the hopper. this causes the cows to float up, and they’re blocked by the fence. breed the cows and some adults will die of entity cramming. (if you want a detailed explanation, my discord is catto7281#1630 :D) 2) id suggest defeating the dragon and getting an elytra asap! elytras are extremely handy for builders especially as scaffolding is a major pain to work with. 3) iron farm! you don’t have any need of it now i’m sure, but they’re always handy, and putting one near your villagers ensures easy emeralds as you can trade iron to blacksmiths. anyway, i love the design of the castle, especially the towers! the leaf design is amazing

You could totally do a 120-block tower build in the center of the castle with a penthouse/afk spot and I think it would look pretty baller. Make a fun new house, too. Top floor bedroom, storage rooms, a high roller suite, and then, of course, the murder basement at the bottom.

The mob farm castle looks epic. Perhaps you can use some tinted glass if you find a geoge in front of the doors and windows so you can see the farm running?

you can hold mending tools in your offhand while killing mobs for exp and it will go the the tool in the offhand slot.

Maybe you should build a tower off camera or in the next video instead of using the scaffolding tower, it would be much safer (if that would work). Also loving the series, I actually started a world just for the purpose of building villages and towns

How deep do you dig the hole for the mobs to fall down? Also, how do you keep everything rendered when you're 120 blocks above the things? don't they despawn if they're out of render distance too long?

A layout would be cool this would fit so well in my medieval village I would just use a trident system to kill the mobs to get the xp to mend my tools or gear as in bedrock the trapdoors don't stop spiders from spawing and can't put a tool in the off hand like in Java but a very neat design though

hold the the tool in your left hand so that when you kill the mobs in your farm it gets fixed without you switching tools all the time.

It's 120 blocks up from the bottom layer of the floor right? And is that the coordinate when you are standing on it? Or the actual floor layer (-1 from standing)?
