It's been awhile! Come along as I show you a few bits of Saint Edward, NE, a 4x map built for FS22. This map is in the testing phase at the time of this videos posting.
The map looks so good. Hopefully it will be released. I like Squatch's idea for the extra stuff added. Obviously don't know what he dm'ed you, but as far as his comment on your post.
map is looking awesome! nice shader preset too. i know you run a lot of private mods but is that air drill youve got parked at your farm a public item? doesnt look familiar
@22antler not sure. I did a pretty deep search for it on his old pages. Must have never been a public mod. Couldnt find a release all the way back to fs17.
Do you mind me asking how you made the dem? It looks like a lot of it was hand done, looks awesome btw. I use microdem and then use splines to do the waterways.
Today I use scripts. I can make a detailed DEM in about 15min using different processes. However, didn’t do that with this map. Lots of image editor work including a program called Wilbur to help calculate and generate the waterways. Took a lot of work. If I did it all over again I’d just use my new scripts and wouldn’t mess with Wilbur though
