In this video, Eric talks about the GIANT G2700 and why it might just be our favorite in the GIANT lineup!
The Giant G2700 HD+ is equipped with a strong 3 cylinder 50 HP turbo charged Kubota diesel engine with a catalyst (DOC) and particulate filter (DPF). This machine features a standard 2-speed gearbox and heavy planetary final drives that deliver a high pulling force, quick acceleration and a top speed of 18.6 mph. The Giant G2700 HD+ can be equipped with an optional heated cab that offers a spacious and comfortable working environment. Available high flow hydraulics, a large choice of tire options and optional traffic lights make this machine a great fit for snow removal purposes, landscaping & tree work, construction or farming. The G2700 HD+ comes with either a standard boom or an X-Tra boom configuration that offers more visibility and a higher lift capacity. (Telescopic boom coming soon!) A foldable ROPS is available for work in low clearance areas. This machine comes standard with a universal full size SSL plate and hydraulic quick attach.

Not having an option for A/C with an enclosed cab, with a machine that is used year around in 100F and -30F weather is a huge deterrent, for me at least anyway. There isn't enough head room for the taller folks with a long torso, for reference I'm 6'4". Letting air out of the air ride seat doesn't do much for head room and its rather harsh on the spine when you hit a bump. My head easily hits the celling when the machine hits any uneven terrain on the road, very annoying. The parking brake needs to be either shortened, moved to a complete different location or something because it's IN THE WAY when entering and exciting the machine. The GIANT G2700 would way more attractive, even at its price, if it had A/C, more head room, a wider door opening and parking brake that isn't in the way. I think it a great machine that just needs some improvements to make it more suitable for all year use for North American customers.

The cold weather isn’t a problem! It has heat. Just have to take the windows off for now in the summer. I love mine!

@@dudeswaggins-sd7hc I'm aware it has heat. I'm trying to state that the machine won't just solely be used in weather where A/C isn't needed. It should have A/C as an option if GIANT is going to have an enclosed cab as an option in the North American market. Where I'm located, we see temps all the way into the 100's and all the way to the -40's, without windchill.

@@Yeti573 Giant is working on an A/C solution for compact machines. They were originally designed for the Netherlands. We'll be sure to share more information when it's released.
