Holy crap I cried when the kids were putting flowers on the grave. Thats what our grandparents and great grandparents fought for. Im normally not patriotic but that was an amazing image of proof that they made the American dream possible for generations below them. And of course the soldiers today.

I love how your family comes together on holidays, special days, and days where you need extra love and support. You're very blessed to be in such great families on both sides. I don't have that. I'm never with my family on holidays or even my birthday. I've had to make the painful decision to pull completely away from my sister because of the hurt she's inflicted upon me. Yes, it does hurt but the pain she's causing me is worse. I'm sorry to be such a downer here, especially after seeing such a beautiful vlog.

It is so great that you guys appreciate the closeness of your families, not only in proximity but in relationship. I love to watch you guys when you have big family events. I'm in awe of your sweet families. That would have been a dream come true for my children and I to have family close by but unfortunately for us it wasn't to be although growing up I was always around my cousins. My poor girls have missed out. Living half way across the world to my family has not been easy.
