the b.c. kootenays comprise two valleys, the east and west kootenays, and are part of a dense inland rain forest which is rare as most rain forests are coastal. i lived in an old log cabin in the west kootenay valley for a couple years, it is underpopulated wild country teeming with wildlife. what a stunning encounter by this man!
I bet the big guy was about to have a heart attack when the hunter removed the ghillie suit head part... That bigfoot must of been thinking this human is taking one of my kinds head off...
Maybe the sasquatch freaked out because the man took off his head since it thought it found another bigfoot and had never seen somebody do that before. Poor eyesight might have been the reason
I live in B.C. and can say with 100% confidence that we have more Sasquatch here than anywhere else on earth except maybe Siberia thanks for the story not very believable but entertaining 🙏💪🇨🇦
That's an amazing close call encounter! It shows that these beings don't are really aggressive and will avoid humans unless there's no other way! If people are scared of them screaming and chasing them out o the woods its because the sasquatch don't want to hurt people and prefer to warn them to get ou!
We don’t know that and I’d hate to generalize about all of them. There are many horror stories. As well, most social media like to tell the warm and fuzzy stories. Don’t assume anything.

Luckily the man didn’t get folded like an auntie, these bigfoot are known to do that. I was once folded by a bigfoot and he put his weenuk in me dry, my backside still hurts!
They are apes, although bipedal most of the time and they have a human-like nose. Other than that, from throwing rocks to whooping, they are very much ape.
The Creator/WORD forbids them from communicating and harming humans unless they are threatened with death. It's not who we currently are that makes us off limits to them, it's what God has breathed in us. A Living Soul, and His Spirit if one has a born again relationship with YAH. Those that violate His laws are held accountable by their own and angelic beings. I have seen them manifest on a photo after praying for protection. Ephesians chapter six verse twelve. Those that are redeemed will have power to become sons of God (like angels).
So- the avid and experienced hunter doesn’t notice a 8 foot tall creature is suddenly next to him- I don’t think he should go bear hunting- he’s likely to be lunch

Your description of his physical appearance reminds me of a friend of mine who came face to face with him not to far from the area you had your encounter.
wow! that’s priceless. and, they have language! funny but sad they couldn’t be friends like the sasquatch thought. imagine if we were friends with each other, but we’ve made enemies of nature and everything in our world, it seems, including each other. come to think of it, the sasquatch was right to be terrified. 🤍💭 david
