Giant LEGO USS Iowa Battleship Custom Build! 

As a former tour guide on the Iowa, I can say she’s the best microscale recreation I’ve ever seen

This is insane, I didn’t even realize the Missouri was an Iowa class battleship when I went to Pearl Harbor to see it, this is what i call a lego.

Be nice to see an '80s version with the Tomahawk armored box launchers and the Harpoon launchers.

I've been on the U.S.S New Jersey, and this looks exactly like it. I also have a Revell model of this boat I made that is on display. This Lego build is amazing!

Out of curiousity: Have you guys ever considered making a micro-scale (1:250, 2 metres per stud) star wars raider-class corvette? I think it would be an incredible model to design and build. Its the exact same length as the CR 90, so its quite large but not overly massive. I certainly don't have the skill to design a model myself, but I'd purchase the instructions for one in a heartbeat

My grandfather served on the Missouri in WWII so this hits close to home. I also wish Lego would make this a set.

This is definitely on my list. Hopefully the deck can be built with light tan tiles to replicate the wooden decks of the WW2 ships.

Loved the video BrickVault! The Iowa-class Battleships were the last class of Battleships to be built by the U.S. Navy, not just in World War Two, but flat out! They were supposed to be succeeded by the Five planned ships of the Montana-class Battleships in response to the threat that the Japanese Yamato-class Battleships posed to the Pacific War. However, Because of the strength of U.S. Navy Carrier Air Power by 1944, the Montana's were cancelled with their Hull designs being used for the Midway-class Aircraft Carriers that were to succeed the Essex-class Carriers, only 1 Midway and 4 Essex class Aircraft Carriers are preserved as museum ships; The lead ship of the Midway-class, USS Midway (CVB-41), at San Diego, California while the Essex-class Carriers USS Yorktown (CV-10), USS Intrepid (CV-11), USS Hornet (CV-12), and USS Lexington (CV-16) are at Patriots Point, North Carolina (with Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer USS Laffey DD-724), New York city, New York, Alameda, California, and Corpus Christi Bay, Corpus Christi, Texas respectively. Seeing this build really makes me hope for more designs like the USS Wasp (CV-7), the Yorktown-class (Yorktown 5; Enterprise 6 and Hornet 8), and the Essex-class Carriers and the Independence-class Light Aircraft Carriers with parts and instructions for each ship of the class or even the two designs that preceded the Iowa's, the 16 in./45 cal. armed North Carolina and South Dakota classes; it should be noted that the Iowa's had 16 in./50 cal. guns. I would love if we could get the instructions for the Cherokee-Class tugboat at some point. I can't afford anything like the USS-Iowa, but I would love to build the Cherokee (its the little boat at 1:18)

Bought the instructions before the video even ended....I need help

They don't check parts for availability. I bought cavegod's sandcrawler design from them. A dozen nearly impossible to obtain pieces in the set, and you need over 90 of one of the hard to get pieces. Also, the manual has not been properly vetted. Brickvault built the set, but when they followed the instructions, they somehow failed to address issues that were impossible to miss. $60 instructions, they didn't do thier job, but they brag about it in thier videos. I am not here just to troll. I love the designs, reviews, top 10 set videos, etc. But I have to point out that the part vetting for availability and quality of instructions claims are inaccurate.
