Not sure why so many people assume this is private land?! Montana has endless limited entry public land hunts with few hunters that it’s possible to hold out for the bull you want. Haters will always find a way to discredit how ever they can. Nice job guys, whether this is private ground or public, it’s a true giant taken fair chase!

Ryan Alltus I live in MT. There is miles of endless wild land any direction you look. But it's hard to believe that a bull is going to be running around the wilderness.

Are you kidding me, dude? There's no problem that it's on private land, it's perfectly legal and neither the hunter nor the video creator ever says or even implies that it's on public land. But if you think there are places in MT where there are multiple 6x6 bulls just standing around during rifle season on public land, you are kidding yourself. This guy paid a LOT of money to shoot an elk on that ranch, for sure.

There may be lots of public land, but if you expect to find bulls like the ones in this video its going to be a special draw area with terrible draw odds,.Areas like 380 or 410.I know because I live in Montana.

Its private land - they said "property" and "ranch" in the dialoge. There are big bulls on public land but they sure don't stand around like that in the open.

When I was hunting mule deer in Wyoming I seen a Bull that when he put his head back his top times were back at his ass,! It was huge!

Great production, good shot. However, guys that are 'horn hunters' and have the connections and influence to be so do not represent the tens of thousands of DIY weekend warriors who love the hunt, the environment and yes, the hard won trophies. No offense to anyone. These thoughts are my own. I will probably pass on any other Eastman videos for the aforementioned reason.

Elk hunting isn’t that easy, unless you are on private! It doesn’t do much for hunting! I know this first hand with Eastman, as you guys offered a good friend of mine 80,000 dollars to lease his ranch in eastern Montana!

Give Dan a call......ranch hunt, gauranteed bull and a nice road to walk on. You won't spill your purse or get your boots dirty...........at $8k it's still cheaper than a new atv!

The western side of Montana is a bunch steeper than this. They say the elk numbers are up. Maybe east in the block management areas and the private ground. The western side is tough. If you do kill a bull, it's either on your back or by horse if you still have an old OPEN logging road that hasn't been wiped away. If you kill a bull, you earn it.

I would bet my last dollar they are on the climbing arrow or CA ranch outside of bozeman not finding that many bulls in to many places together anymore and the CA is where primos shoots most of their videos they have so much public land blocked it isnt even funny better have a fat wad of greenbacks to play here. have heard them call it elk disneyland and some videos on here of hunters actually complaining they cant get a mid day break cause to MANY ELK POOR FREAKING BABIES

Could always fly into the public areas that they have blocked? Watched a video by Randy Newberg where he did just that...had a helicopter drop him off on some public land that was surrounded by private. Would work if you mean by them "blocking" public land via access points....

Every public land elk huntef knows that you dont walk out in the open, your never as loud as these idots are, and you never pass up a respectable bull. Any one of those bulls would be a public land trophy, hence this is obviously private.

It's not hunting if you pay an outfitter! to locate a bull for you to shoot. There is no skill or effort in this kind of hunting. Grow some balls and go hunt without paying for animals you didn't hunt for.
