Who else agrees, this is one of the best catch and cooks this man has done! I think a couple of us have been watching a certain Netflix show and are now a little bit sensitive when it comes to the topic of catching octopus. Mr field days is a massive advocate of mother nature. You never see this man taking too much. Just enough for a feed. A mentality to learn from. Cheers brother, keep it up 🤙

I disagree. You cannot be a massive advocate of 'Mother Nature' (whatever that is) and kill beautiful animals. Yes, if it is life and death then you have to so you can survive but this is not life or death it is a youtube channel.

I don't eat meat, I don't eat anything that has come from an animal. it is probably why I feel killing a beautiful Octopus is a crap thing to do, they are incredible creatures. but what I eat means nothing in this argument that killing an Octopus literally going about it's octupussing duties bothering no-one is pointless and cruel. He is not trying to 'survive' so it is just done for a youtube video - but if it excites you seeing it then go for it - here's some tissues.

@@suzannebert3652 octopus does take on the flavors of the wood I love visiting all my friends in Hawaii,,there all hunter so there are always smoking a pig or deer mountain goat or some kind of fish, it's all so so good!! Linda & myself started taking PAXLOVID today, right now I'm just really tired and a headache, hopefully this take care of it!!! Thanks for the well wishes and we will see ya next week!!

I did this recipe this past Saturday and it completely beat my expectations. Boiling in red wine vinegar for an hour just didn't sound good lol, but my brother and I loved the octopus. Also pickled some and will have in two weeks! Thanks as always for the killer vids. Much love!
