I have just harvested several puffball mushrooms. It rained for a few days in the Chicago area. I went to the woods today and found hundreds of giant puffball mushrooms. I harvested 4 because that's all I could carry. I will cook them tomorrow.
@@alchannel009Hi I have just found some today in a field full of cows who were watching me pick them I then went inside a cut them into 1×2 inch square pieces fried them for 5 minutes in Garlic butter with some salt and black pepper and they were absolutely delicious! Try them and you won't be disappointed, enjoy 😉
Before you zoomed in on that mushroom, I thought it was a cauliflower! LOL I thought you were just joking. I've never seen a mushroom like that before. Very interesting video...thanks!
Just cooked one up last week. Split it with two other friends because a basketball sized puffball is way too much for me to eat by myself. I only have to go as far as my back yard to harvest them. Lol
Hunting mushrooms all my life here in indiana, last year i came across 4 of these giants and soccer ball kicked them because of what my dad told me... they were poisonous, to say the least im pissed now lol.... I will be going back to that spot this year and trying these bad boys out
It’s hard to explain, they just taste like two completely different mushrooms kind a like all vegetables taste differently and all fruit taste differently.
They are in season right now. I just went for a hike in the woods to find it. you should watch these two clips also if you like mushrooms. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6VbIpKEmkxs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5U_dyOjAPEI.html
