As someone who struggles to travel solo and seeing you make friends on the way it's very inspiring for me. I hope some day I could break it and take off like you do!

Gotta say Mav is like the most outgoing person I've ever seen that likes being alone

Mav is literally so wholesome and nice to people, imagine an entire world with people just like him being friendly and funny.

I miss fishing. I used to fish with my dad every summer but last summer we weren’t able to get out because we were both working so much and now he’s partially wheelchair bound so I don’t know if we’ll ever be able to again. I hope we can find a way to get out to the river and start fishing this summer. It serves a good lesson to be grateful for what you can do especially with parents. Keep trucking Mav.

It's really good to see that there are still really good people in this world who just love to get out and enjoy the outdoors. It's even better when get to meet and make new friends, who enjoy it as much as you do.

Just bought my first fishing rod today. Mav, you inspire me and many others to step out of our comfort zone and enjoy life to the fullest.

As a mother I'm screaming "nooooooo Mav don't go with strangers". But since you posted this video I know they didn't kidnap you and take you to Canada. 😂😁 Kidding - I'm sitting here thinking I heated some egg rolls and topped it off with a pack of teriyaki sauce from Panda Express and Mav is cooking risotto with white wine on the back of a truck in the middle of the woods. Either he needs to slow down or I need to step up my cooking game. Delicious looking food as usual. Be safe 💕

With your risotto, you want to gradually add in your stock. If you have a smaller pot keep it hot next to your rice. Add you stock once per ladle, stir and let it absorb. Do that until all your stock is absorbed and the add your parm. You will get a super creamy dish.

The woman who let you know what’s up on the true way of cooking risotto…she my hero. It does not matter how far away from Italy one may be, don’t lower those standards lol

I grew up on the NE shore of Lake Ontario. I (at 16) got my first car/vehicle. It was a Ford F-150 with cap and outfitted with electric (in the bed) and had a couch-bed/bedding, basic fishing gear, cooler, and a behind seat gun rack. That was 1994. My Pops gave me the truck, (his from new) but made me work for 2 years (making payments) from 14-16. This content is VERY familiar to me as well as personal. I spent multiple summers as a late-teen, living out of the truck, traveling (Grateful Dead Shows mostly,) And simply experiencing life and growing up. Anyway Mav, we grew up similar and I love your content. I understand your content. Keep it up, your great at this!

Mav, Risotto; you’ve gotta alternate wine/stock in small amounts let the latter boil off add the alternate until you get to the desired consistency. You don’t cover and boil like normal rice
