what 3s battery do you use? i just got a mini erevo vxl and i ordered a 3s battery but it doesnt fit in the battery trays. its fast enough with 2s but i want to see what it can do.
5:24 I have a GoPro mount on my remote for filming and it works perfectly! The GoPro mic picks up my voice and the car sounds, and doesn’t pick up other things. (Even if it’s windy!) I’d recommend trying that.
The one you can adjust is an omni directional Mike, picks up in all directions. You can try to put a cone,/funnel around it so that the sound from the sides will be dampened. It's worth a try since you have it already.
Hello Kevin, I've had this and much more issues with my cheap cameras. For the iPhone mic try this: a 1mt lightning cable soft, male to female. Plug the male into iPhone and the mic in the cable's female; secure the mic to your hat or jacket. This should ensure you record the transmitter clicks 1x and not 100x. 😉
Ah the late night supermarket lot. Glad it's not just me. I tried recording with a transmitter mounted cam and it sounded awful, lots of me banging about sounds. I need a a dampened solution like you showed - thanks!
Audio help: look for an 1/8 inch in-Line pad or volume attenuator... to get real good audio you probably need a shotgun mic for most of the RC driving stuff. A simple ENG setup would be ideal but audio would be recorded separately and need to be matched to video in editing
Kev, I have a headset at work that is very sensitive microphone in it. Picked up all the wind noise. What I and my workmates did was take a piece of microphone foam, just like the round one you have in the video. We cut it to size and glued it over the tiny mic on our headsets. It worked perfectly. Cut out all wind noise.
Not going two lie wet tarmac with an rc car is awesome fun as you can see that thing got so much body roll its crazy but an awesome truck nice one kev hope you had a good one see you in the next 👍👍👍

The lights looked awesome 👌 I will admit I really don't like the 360 cam and was well happy when I died but that's just my opinion great video having fun even in bad weather 👍
Rode do a lavalier mic for iPhone. I think that's probably your best solution as you can position the mic exactly where you want it. Great video. I might have to get me one on those sbr's. I was going to get a udr last year but I'm glad I waited.
Got an idea for a future video, throw some million weight silicone in some shocks, send it of a huge ramp and see what happens. Probably gonna be a lot destruction lol
