So this is Carl Lindou doing a "warm-up" flight on the Friday before the Saturday judging flights at the US Scale Masters Regional Qualifier held in Hemet California on 12-13 July, 2024.
Carl wanted to make sure his model was performing well, so he put it through what could be called an INTENSE flight routine, something that RC Model Airplane enthusiasts all over Southern California have seen him do for years! While decidedly NOT SCALE, I simply can't believe a Fokker Dr.1 Triplane can be flown like this...absolutely incredible!
This 1/3 scale Balsa USA Triplane is powered by a DLE-116 engine, spinning a XOAR 28x10 propeller.
