So therapeutic watching these videos. I love servicing my own bikes and spend too much time watching restoration/maintenance/cleaning of bikes (and cars and motorbikes). Also your voice is so calm and easy to listen to. You could have an alternate (or parallel) career narrating childrens stories. Great work

I love your work and dedication and I know you are properly getting a bit tired of the copper slip topic. But please, just switch to a modern ceramic or non-metallic assembly compound. Please! Is just better. I work as an engineer in the automotive industry and we stopped using cooper slip years ago. There are just better alternatives out there. Keep up the good work!

Most of the bike shops here in my country lack that dedication and passion when it comes to servicing bikes. I admire your channel and I could not tell you how satisfying it is to watch everything especially because I have decided a long time ago that I will be the only person to ever service my bike. If the front brake were to be stuck like that. First you remove the wheel, then brake pads so they do not rub or hit against the fork, then you use the 5mm allen on the mounting nut and you hold it vs you loosening it, and now you twist the brake caliper instead. Usually all the crud are stuck around the mounting nut vs the actual bolt itself.

Hi, I'm a bike shop owner (just a startup bike shop, really). I too do cable with heatshrink like you did on 9:22 but with heat gun and some occasional lighter here and there. It's really neat and beautiful like you wouldn't believe! very recommended but it's a bit of a hassle so you better off asking a local bike shop to do it haha ;) Kemal - K .Bike Shop Bandung, Indonesia
