Magnetic island have some great fishing spots , but the better ones are within the green zone. You will get heaps of cod everywhere for sure! So happy to land my first giant trevally ! My ins: / ellenxfishing
where you were on rock wall me n my sons have caught barramundi , mangrove jack , jew fish , giant trevally n cod upto 30kg . you really need very early morning with high tide n live bait . on the big jetty where ferry comes in we have caught spanish mackrel over 20kg . once again live bait . dont knock maggie island if you only went for a day go for a week or two n stay in nelly bay rental house its way better .shame you critize the island after a few hours if you feel that way us aussies dont want you back again .

@@THEbigSquido. yeah try the other side where I was fishing at the rock wall .Saw some bigger models, started raining too heavy so didn’t had time to fish other side.
