I literally just came to see how Rob was doing. I watched a video of someone making chicken fried venison and the guys having deer meat for dinner made me think of Rob. I'm so glad to see him out and about with the same vigor and energy that I remember.

243 has to be one of the most underrated bullets. I grew up using a 243 my first ever kill was a cow elk using my savage 243 .. she went down with one shot. Great video. Can't wait to see Sarah's Wisconsin hunt

Makes me so happy to see you and Maverick hanging out! My dog Lyla is spoiled to no end but she deserves it, one she’s missing a leg and secondly she helps me more than she knows. I suffer from non epileptic seizures (PNES) and her just being by my side seems to affect them and cause me to have less and the ones I do aren’t nearly as bad. Sorry for the rant, dogs just make me happy especially well treated dogs!

Great video!!! Some day those thermal scopes will be in my price range. Some day. That meal looked awesome!!! I do something similar with ground pork, ground sausage, Italian sausage, and peppers in the middle. Then it's basket weaved with bacon over top and we call it a fatty. Then it's smoked rather than grilled.

Maverick has gotten so big so fast. He is a very handsome boy. Just be careful what he gets because garlic and onions and other spices can be toxic for dogs. Love video video and that .243 is a beast!

Dude, .243 is so southern!! Hunting with my dad, who grew up in upstate NY, the .270 was the minimum excepted everywhere we went :) Mom and Dad moved to NC and the guys we got in with were all on the .243, they swore by it. It definitely punched well above its weight, not sure but suspect the ballistic coefficient is really good. In the end the proof is what is does and it is a magic dropper down here in the south land. Cheers
