I had one one of these for several years, and it washes really good. I still have it, but I moved in a place that has regular washer- drier. Put a couple of 2x4 pieces under it, so it is not sitting in the water when it drains. It only uses 175 Watts/ hour. Cheers, Rusty!
I love mine! I've had it about 5 years. To save water after the first load is done, don't empty all the water out, just put the clothes in the spin side and rinse the soapy water there. I use about a gallon or two to rinse with. I can then wash a second load on the washer side without a complete refill, just maybe add a gallon or two to refill the water level in the washer. Washing your light colors and least soiled items first, then darker items the 2nd time. The clothes come out of the spinner wrung almost dry. I hang my clothes on hangers to dry and the smaller items I have a folding rack with about 20 little clothes pins that also hangs up.
Had a similar unit for 3 years of boondocking. Ran it on solar. Saved me a lot of money and time. Used it in Quartzite and Imperial Dam LTVA'S and in the state parks of New Mexico(had ac power there). Worth every penny.
There you go, showing your hanes (gildan) windsocks! Baiting those delicate ones who can't handle the truth... underwear exist! Standup comedian, Rusty. Thank you for laughter, inspiration and motivation. Last few weeks I'm getting stuff done. Groceries, car maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, staying active, etc. You sharing your videos helps a lot. Thanks, Amigo.
Love this video! I'm getting one to improve my life... Following your link for my next Amazon order. Thanks, Amigo. My fellow Rangers are quite a team! Their comments are positive and helpful, too.
Raul and I are still at Van Lake outside of Roswell. I haven't gone back home to Ruidoso yet. I'm still not feeling safe there, but I definitely want to order one of these washers if your final review is a 👍
In my case Buzz I work for a small family business for the last 22 years. 40 total in the field (specialty retail). I turned 65 last December and I've been working part time for last last 3 or so. Covid sort of put me back money wise but I gave my full retirement notice 2 months ago. My last day is next Tuesday! Woohoo! How about yellow on your feeder?
Rusty your going to love that washer. I bought 1 for Moms cabin along with a compact dryer & solved the problem of people taking towels & sheets & not bringing them back. Also did same set up for my daughter in the basement. Washes so much better than that expensive Maytag HE machine that I bought another & have it at my kitchen sink. All of ours do have a water pump in them. Your may be gravity. Just made a batch of homemade dry laundry detergent. Haven’t tried it yet
2 tips: *if you unscrew the shower head, a lot more water will come out from the hose. (Don’t lose the washer.) * You can back flush it if it seems slow pumping down. Unplug it Put the dial to drain Put the shower hose onto the exhaust hose. It will back flush. I washed a tissue and some of it plugged up the pump. This cleared it.
I have seen other you tubers use that kind of washer the specific one was a couple living in Alaska that used it as their only washing source as they lived off grid and used a generator to provide power to their small home
Just saw the Short video of the giant snake crawling around in your garage. If that was my garage it would be ex snake, no way would there be room for both of us.
I never knew anything like that even existed. A pretty neat little appliance, but the reviews I read warn about poor warranty coverage. You have to figure that anything this mechanical that only costs $150 will likely fail sooner than later.
Rusty, now that you have a concrete floor, you could get you a washer dryer, ful size, for your garage.that little washer dryer combo looks to small to do a load of luandry.
