Lisa Bosman and her family had an unforgettable ape encounter during their visit to Monkeyland (Plettenberg Bay, South Africa) and she was lucky enough to get it on camera.
The aforementioned encounter featured the family trying to cross a rope bridge when they spotted an energetic gibbon ape approaching them from the opposite direction.
The ape keeps swinging on the rope as she makes her way across the bridge, and eventually goes over the tourists, who do their best not to get in her way by ducking.
"This gibbon ape came swinging over our family whilst crossing the bridge," Lisa told WooGlobe. "We actually learned that she lost her partner last year and was very sad when we previously visited. This year, she was feeling much better."
