Imported solid models often come in out of position and need to be oriented to the correct coordinate system before they are ready to be programmed. Learn how to quickly orient and position an imported solid model correctly in GibbsCAM by easily moving the part origin to the location of your choice.

Hello there. Thanks for the video! Quick question if I could. If I import or create a solid model in Gibbs, how can I see that solid model when it comes to the simulation? So , like if I wanted to bring in a part that just need chamfers on different levels, how do I simulate it so that I see the model the whole time? So that I don't see my tool plunging through material that isn't there (because the stock dimensions will be a cube) ? I hope this makes sense.
