This is fantastic!!! Thank you for using the same pickups to make it a fair comparison. I'm actually digging the es-335 with that particular configuration, something special maybe the almost acoustic nature of it. Definitely warmer sounding if you could do the same with a Les Paul that would be great

I think I like the es-335 a little bit more in the clean stuff but either wat they are both killer-guitars. Congrats ;)

I reckon you have 2 great guitars there. The SG has a bit more grit for rock and the ES more depth on the cleans. They will serve you well for a great range of Genres and tones.

Thanks for comparison video! Been digging the Gibsons lately ( have a LP and335) found a 13 61 SG reissue( not a fan of whammy bars like the Bigsby or Lyre but like the look lol) on CL for a decent price! Redundant? Maybe but SG does give you slightly higher mids and lighter on back hahahahaha!!! Will see! Right now toss up between that SG and a 00 CS NOS Strat! Currently Stratless In Seattle!!! Cheers!!!

Generally, prefer the 335 (my fav), but I like the SG crunch tones better.

The 335, having more bass, while maintaining clarity, is a lot superior to my personal taste.

sg is the better guitar, the tone is more usable out of the box

Buy me a tuner, because all my tuners said I was correctly intonated and tuned on both instruments... Cheers dude
