Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop Vintage Guitar made in 1974 on my Luthier Workbench.
This amazing Guitar has a hidden s secret.....
After the inspection I have noticed that there are a lot of unusual details. There are a lot of scratches and sanding marks all over the Instrument and at first I thought uhhh... this looks really goofy and it took me a while to get behind the Story of this Instrument .
The owner who got this beautiful Instrument in this condition asked me to take care about this heavy played Guitar. I decided to level the Frets and to make a nice new Bone Nut. You can follow the whole repair/ restoration process in this Video and I have to say this is like a low budget maintenance to get this beautiful Guitar playable again. The replaced Frets a pretty worn down and there is not a lot of life left........ I will also explain and show a couple of "Luthier Hacks" in this Video.
