I raised all 3 of my boys with Steve Cash & TKC. Oldest is 12. We do cat rescue & there is a little Sylvester in there... kittens have all been named after Talking Kitty Cat references. Something that I love about TKC and Steve Cash's legacy... are that his fans are looking after eachother. I'm not sure if it's something you noticed or not, but my oldest and I have. It's something I think he would have been truly proud of.

I just wanna say that gibsons owner is holding up so well. He is obsalutly BRAVE for everything. But you have to remember that he is with the angels and god. He is having the best time in heaven watching over all of us. Sum people might say Angels are not real but i believe that they are. life is very strange, Steve like my dear brother took his own life, my brother loved cats and dogs to. I am very sad as this was the one thing on utube i love to watch. I am/was somewhat new (about a year or so) since discovering "The Talking Kitty Cat" and found it my "go to" channel to visit/guaranteed to ALWAYS change my mood for the better x2. I am still totally enjoying and getting the benefits of viewing/reviewing each episode, BUT, I am also feeling, devastated (I cry out loud) because Steve's videos heal me (are my emotional Band-Aid at times when I need it)... I can't stop crying after each enjoyable video, knowing Steve is no more. My emotions are getting in the way of me finishing this.. I feel the lose of the talent, creativeness, and the knowledge that Steve is gone. BUT, I will treasure what Steve gave. Steve you are greatly missed.

Truly sorry for your loss. It's kind of sad when adopting a kitty, knowing that we'll probably outlive them, even if they live their fullest lifespan. Our 18 year old Zefur passed a few months ago; the pain subsides, memories live on. Thank you for posting these wonderful videos. =-)
This breaks my heart because it reminds me of my sweet baby who passed away at only 4 years old. I’m not sure if Gibson passed away due to the same illness as my sweet boy, but it seems like it from what I’ve read in the comments. If you have a male cat, they are at a higher risk of developing crystalitis (than female cats) which eventually causes kidney failure and death. If you don’t catch it soon enough the survival rate is low. Before I met my fiancée, our (just his at the time) cat Charlie developed crystalitis but he was able to catch it in time. He spent almost 2,000 dollars for emergency surgery for Charlie. He had less than a 50/50 shot that he would live but 3 years later, and Charlie is happy, healthy, and playful. We are eternally grateful that our lil ginger kitty pulled through, but this is not the norm. There are budget friendly (non prescription) options to help prevent crystalitis. I personally recommend IAMS Urinary Tract Blend, but Purina also has their own version. (When we adopted our other sweet boy Onyx, the veterinarians on staff actually commended our decision to just start him on the urinary tract blend food for prevention). I’m sorry for the long comment, I just wanted to share my personal experiences to try to prevent other kitties from suffering. (and I’m not a professional so if you are concerned but don’t want to make a decision yet, make sure you talk to your vet first). Rest In Peace to sweet little Gibson, and all the other animals who had to go so soon. And For those who still have their babies in their life, may all of your beautiful angels live long and happy lives.

2 of my boys had it. They got better.. It also helps to give distilled water to drink daily..it doesn't have all the unwanted minerals that build up and clog things.
