Definitely going to make the policy envelope and create encouraging sentiments and scriptures for the receiver to pull out when they want. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Love the card....also the little pieces you used to make the hinges if you punch them in orange they could be traffic cones. I love your ideas that is why your channel is the best...
These ideas are great. I too like the barrel card, but really like the box. The card shape also reminds me of a life jacket (like you wear on boats), and maybe even a coffin (for Halloween?). I also can see, if you hold the card in landscape orientation, a gift card or money holder. You can make a pocket (like you do in your mini albums) for the gift card on the inside. Or...you could use the card as a hidden place to put journaling, etc. on a mini album or scrapbook page. Just some thoughts I had.
I am enjoying watching you work. Your imagination is one of a kind which has no limit. Your creativity is amazing. You are truly a creative angel from God. I am so thankful that he has blessed you with a gift that you share with the world. Keep doing what you do. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness... I bought the gift bag punch board on clearance yesterday.. I hate to spend so much $$ on bought gift bags... I knew that I could find alternate uses and you didn't disappoint MayMay! My son, who will be 28 next week, considers himself a whiskey aficionado. I was going to make him a card this afternoon... This barrel card is PERFECT! I will also be using one of your wood look techniques. Thank you thank you thank you!
How cute! Love the barrel card shape, and your use of the scraps!. Maybe for wine lovers? Or humorous birthday cards? I'm also seeing vehicle related cards, (with the windshield shape)...great for boys and guys! Or even for a newly married couple, in the getaway car. Gee, now I might have to get one of these punches!
Love these projects... especially the gate fold card. Such clever ideas! May I CASE your card? I think it would be cute to use the designer paper on the bottom half of the cardstock to look like a half-barrel and then fill the top half with flowers and a butterfly. Thank you for sharing.
I have the gift bag punch board and have been waiting for someone to come up with some alternate uses. Love, love, love your ideas and I'm off to make them. Thank you.
I’ve had one of those Punch Boards for years and barely used it. Thanks for the inspiration....now I just need to find where I put it so I can make those cards and envelopes. Thanks Maymay, you’re amazing 😍
I just love the barrel card the way you did it and I'm envisioning it with flowers!! And I don't want to get that board so need to figure out how to do it without. But the envelope was great too!
Too Cute! I inquired online chat if there was a video that showed how to use punch boards, the bag as you are doing and the one that showed the envelope; and which scoring tool was best for the WE R Memory Keeper trim and score board. Very helpful, what I got was answers and soo much more. Thank you very much. I will be looking at more of your videos. Being out after major transplant surgery this really keeps my mind sharp and helping with my memory. Thank you.
Thank you for this great tutorial, I recently purchased on of these boards and was thinking that it must be possible to make an envelope with it, but you have taken all of the guess work out of trying to do it for me : ) you are a STAR Maymay, THANK YOU soooo much. Because it is after 10.00 pm here in France will have a go at making envelopes tomorrow : ) Bonne nuit et à bientôt Susanne
OMGosh Maymay! LOVE these projects!! The barrel card is just too cute!!! I am wondering if you can make those swinging doors? Remember those? LOL My mother in law use to have some of those. LOL And Love the policy envelopes too. I am always needing those in the middle of the night when the stores are closed! LOL Thanks again for the great ideas!! You did an awesome job! Have a great day!
+Maymay Made It Crafts great idea, I can see the card the other way round as have on flap like a pocket and the other as you open it it pulls something out, I hope that makes sense! maybe a anchor for example!
