Your ideas are very nice and thoughtful. Something that people need to buy at Christmas are the white gift boxes. You can’t find them the rest of the year. You can find the boxes and tissue paper for Pennie’s after Christmas if you go quickly.

I don't like receiving store bought gifts but I love when my daughter makes something for me. I love making gifts and goody bags. Thank you for more ideas.
These are adorable. I would love to get these for Christmas. The one with the Michael's box, you could wrap ribbon from the bottom of the box up around the top of the jar so you don't have to pick the bottom of the box up

Thank you Noreen for these wonderful ideas! This has been the worst year I've had in a long time. I lost my mom 2 days before mother's day. I lost my job of 14 years in August and now right before Christmas my husband and I after almost 14 years are getting divorced. I will be moving out of state within the next week to move in with my parents (dad and step-mom; 2500 miles away) and while things are really tight right now; these ideas will be awesome for family when I get back home. Thanks again for the ideas! :) I really like the sewing jar idea! :)

Yes, those jars are great to make a "gift in a jar", however they should not be mistaken with regular mason jars and they are not appropriate for home canning. Just wanted to add that for some people reading here who may not understand that. Thanks for the comment. It is a good one and a thrifty idea for those who don't do a lot, if any canning and don't want to buy flats. If they start saving their jars early enough they will be in good shape for the holidays!

I loved all of these ideas. I especially loved Your Savory Meal Jars! AWESOME!!! I just think about SWEETS AS A DIABETIC!!!! TERRIBLE, I know but I don't lie about it either. What a smart idea these jars are Noreen!. I also think they would be great for younger kids who love to bake and is just learning how to. When everything is in one jar, all you would have to do is add maybe oil and an egg… then just pour in one pan…premeasured and perfect!! Love this! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

So sweet for you to mention about your birthday. your children did an amazing job. my mother doesn't like her birthday and I don't like the 4th of July. both are the same day. my dad died on that day 23 years ago and we don't celebrate the day anymore.
I promise the crafting channel will be coming with the new year. Logistics and scheduling simply did not allow for it to happen any sooner. We have all the things necessary now to do what we want with it so keep an eye open. I will be doing a couple things here before Christmas.
