Survived playing in a Corporate/Wedding Band for years. $400 gigs several times a month back in the late 90s until 2008. Then pickicked up agin after 2010 for a little while. I heard about Liquid Blue band. I've played on cruise ships and currently doing my $250 land gig until that winds down. Then back to the ships i will go again. There's no security in being a single gigging musician with no family left. The $100-$150 gigs will not do anyone any favors in this new economic reality we are living in.

I couldn't be a wedding/venue musician. I just couldn't stand to play such cheesy awful, un-cool songs all night. I rather be in a band that plays at Levitation festival.
