Giga Austin also got a little bit of snow and the factory completely shut down. Not so with Giga Berlin that seems to be humming on as usual.

In the USA, the southern states rarely get snow and typical drivers have no idea how to drive safely in slick conditions. In addition, school bus drivers are usually 17 yr old high school dropouts. Everything shuts down and there's runs on milk, bread and eggs at the grocery stores. I'm from Colorado where we 4 wheel drift through switchbacks on the road to the ski areas. When I lived in NC, it was dangerous to drive in snowy conditions because of other drivers.

@@frankhage1734 I am from Denmark and we are currently in the middle of a several weeks long period with very cold temperatures from minus 5 to minus 15 degrees Celsius. Everything works normally but we are running low on stocks of salt that are spread on roads each night by farmers to keep the roads ice free. Another thing everyone does is to empty water pipes of water prior to winter in summerhouses that lay dormant and freezing during winter. If you don’t the pipes will freeze and bust and you got a big expensive mess. I guess it is about being prepared and if you are everything will be business as usual.

Man kann noch viel Potential erkennen, um die Prozesse außerhalb der eigentlichen Fertigung zu optimieren. Die "Energiezentrale" ist immer noch nicht in Betrieb. Also weder kühlen sie damit, noch gewinnen sie Wärme mit der Anlage.

Great footage Tobias. GB looks great swathed in snow. Why the holdup in finishing the small section of exit ramp? Why are there two locations for picking up MYs? Congestion at main site?

Ich dachte es gibt zur Zeit einen Produktionsstop weil Teile auf dem Seeweg nicht rechtzeitig verfügbar sind.

Produktionsstopp ist erst ab 29. Januar bis 11. Februar. Die Teile für die aktuelle Produktion bis dahin, haben die kritischen Seewege bereits passiert. Zukünftige Schiffe fahren um Afrika rum, daher kommen die nicht mehr rechtzeitig an.

I keep wondering if the trouble and expense of the construction and operations or the dedicated railway line has been worth it. It never seems to be as heavily patronised as you would quite reasonably expect for such a large workforce as Giga Berlin has.

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought you were going retro with a black & white edition, that was until I started it and remembered it snows over there. I have to drive 2 to 3 hours to find snow over here, hence very unfamiliar. Then a shock at the end, your riding your bike in that....

Good that the snow is shown on the delivery area. Previously I concluded high output, because the parking lot was almost completely filled, now you see many cars with lots of snow on them, which means that they stand there for longer than just a few hours, maybe even days? So, high output might be an illusion, it might also just be the case that cars are just not transported away because of declined demand.

@@Jessev741 That was true, he is now a liability. Many of his actions now are counter to Tesla's mission statement. The man is not more important than the company with that mission. From a shareholder perspective Apple made the most progress after Steve Jobs, because Steve Jobs enabled that company to succeed. Teala is well established and if someone like JB were to become CEO Tesla will be very successful.

To be clear I'm pro Tesla and pro Tobias Lindh based on my current knowledge. musk is a burden on Tesla now, absolutely he was good good for Tesla, now he is bad for Tesla.
