Hi Tobias, maybe in one of your next videos you can overlay or point out the 47 hectare area that was approved for Tesla for tree cutting. I am not sure where exactly this lies. Thanks so much.
Have a look at this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lFq6yXGtmL4.htmlsi=np5Bpn9I6V4VNJAm&t=717 There you can get a good view of the area where the new rail yard will be built, which is the main part of the expansion. The maps on the right are outdated now though. I'll probably make a video about the updated expansion plans.
Thanks for the annotations. Very helpful. What will be recycled at the new Municipal center? Has the MY production ramped up? Are the “Tree Dwellers “ still there? Are these unemployed people financed by VW and BMW?
I'm not sure what will be recycled there. I don't think production ramped up lately. The tree camp is still there. I don't think they are finances by VW or BMW: Many of them are students. They are mostly protesting against capitalism and don't really know much about Tesla.
Thank you very much for this high-quality video and I will say more - last week I bought a Model Y Long Range AWD 2024 ... there are not many of them here (.lv). A 7-year dream has come true!
18:34 do they need a second distribution area, or do they have plans to remove the other distribution area 19:14 and use its space for something else? The current distribution area seems still slightly underused.
They currently have 3 distribution areas, because the one is too small. The one big distribution area should replace at least two of them. Additionally they need space to store new vehicles. Right now many Teslas are stored at an airfield.
It's not so much about more space, but about putting it into a nicer place with a streamlined layout. The new area will have a centre lane for the new cars that are ten parked at a 45° angle facing another lane on each side for arriving trucks that also park at a 45° angle in line with the cars and then leave via another pair of lanes. So the cars will arrive, turn 45°, wait, drive straight onto the trucks. The trucks will arrive, turn 45°, load, turn 45°, leave. Also, the entry will be directly at the factory building so the cars won't have to enter general traffic.
