I remember people commenting on his "G4L" MV that they want him to do more covers of his vocaloid songs, and he really listened :o I bet many of yall feel as happy as i am rn
Despite having listened to Giga's music for many years, I didn't know he does self-covers. This is the first time I hear him sing, pardon me his voice is SO FUCKING GOOD WHAT THE HELL
Its interesting because the song has to be in his singing range for him to do a self cover so I wonder if he writes it in his range, or makes the song and covers it *if* it so happens to be in his range
@@orinom4128 most producers create the demos themselves, so the songs will have to be in his range unless he has someone else covering the vocal section
@@boop7532 sure! :) though it's possible to substitute vocals for another instrument like piano! im just so interested in how giga does is specifically because he doesnt always write his own lyrics either (like here) so id love to see him make a video sometime about his production process, its so interesting
Yep. This is why it's such a generalisation when ppl say those who use vocal synths can't sing or are too shy. They might use it just because they like it.... Or because using them gives you access/visibility in an already existing community.
@@htsunmiku We all change, lol. I used to be a bigot; seeing autotune/voice tuning and vocaloids inferior to the real thing. About one year ago, I completely fell in love with both, especially vocaloid. It's really nice actually seeing different genres as well, different, instead of horrible. I'm too sleep deprived to know if this reply has much correlation to what you said, my experience just crossed my mind when I read your reply ;>
@@felipe-zm8yd voice control and voice quality does kind of exist. Also there do be different way to sing a note. Tho if you meant singing as in the lifeless/shallow type, then I can agree. I honestly don't really like how you're undermining the creativity that went into this cover, and the complexities of singing well and actually sounding good, in general. I say this from personal experience. I know which notes to sing for every song I really like, but I don't ever sound good; My singing doesn't ever feel right. It didn't fit the song I was singing, unlike Giga's cover.
@@algallero3310 I'm not undermining anything boo boo I'm just saying anyone can sing if they have the smallest notion of musicality. Humans have been doing this for millenia. All you need to sing is a pair of functioning ears and capable vocal muscles. Your performance, agility, range, etc are skills that you hone and develop, just like a violinist learns to play their instrument
