A common complaint found in GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2 is off problem, when we trying to turn power on with in seconds it's automatically turns to power off. In this video shows one of the main component failure in this series motherboards that causes this type of symptoms and how to fix it simply.

How did you know to look at the voltages for the transistors? What was your troubleshooting thought process? Is it always the same transistor on this motherboard model that goes bad? What was the name and specs of the exact part that you swapped out? Thank you in advance

Hello sir, thanks for the video, I have GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi (Intel LGA1151/Z390/ATX/2xM.2 Thermal Guard/Onboard AC Wi-Fi/RGB Fusion/Gaming Motherboard) It has same restarting issue, how do I locate the transistor to replace. Thanks

Excellent Sir. But how did you know that transitor problem at first? Are testing compenent on the board 1 by 1? Or you using schematic to figure out incorrect output at the collector leg of the transitor?

Computer mainboards are all designed by following a systematic "power sequence", when we diagnose the board, if we check from "PLTRST - pin number A-11 on 'PCIEXPRESS SLOT'" signal back to "MEMVTT" in any branded motherboard, it is possible to locate the complaint in five or six steps without the help of schematic diagrams. Kindly regret me the inconvenience for edited to reduce the length of the video and avoided these steps. Another video showing how to check "Power sequence" and locate the complaint can be uploaded later.

Try to replace 1 small transistor and 1 small MOSFET placed in between M.2 slot and LGA1151 socket.

The Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5 motherboard is giving me a tough time. It refuses to shut down, and even when I try a long press on the power button, it just won't budge. I've ruled out the possibility of this being a Windows issue because, even when I'm in the bare motherboard BIOS, it still won't shut down. The screens go dark, but all the fans continue to spin. Help is much needed in solving this motherboard issue
