wouldn't be cmos reset lead to saying rtc bad it said rtc bad not battery bad and shourted rail will make i/o stop all rails power i am just saying what i think happened
yes no need linear bulky expensive supplies . When you plug in SMPS to the system it shows how much current it takes. Do i need to hear click sound ? No need...
@@seckinseckin3919 Mine is a "Nice Power" that I bought on Aliexpress and if passes the corrent you set, you hear a click and an a overcurrent LED lights up.
@@seckinseckin3919I don't know if it's a relay or something else, but in mine smps you hear a click and the overcorrent led lights up. It is a cheap "nice power" that I buy one aliexpress.
@@mime4331 its 50-50. i bought 7 dirt cheap asus/hp motherboard laptops with haswell /broadwell /amd, 3 shorted cpu/pch , 4 fixable, all no shorted caps, only charging ics / power supply ics/superio/ related/ lvds 3.3v problem
@@humayoonorya2259 it depends on rail and components configuration. if you have spikes or switching on power rail is beter insert capacitor for bulk energy storage, and noise go thru capacitor to ground (negetive rail) but on this motherboard is more than 1 cap on repaired rail, and he point on big cap next

So, you have removed a capacitor and the design it is equally valid? Why you don't put another one? Isn't it more probably the PC have another breakdown soon?
Are you sure you can find the capacitor value somewhere on a schematic online and it will cost less than 50$ of your time searching? And all that to comply with rf regulation number xxxx-yyyy etc on no rf unintended emissions 3 cm from the board?
@@gjbcapital1847 It is a simple capacitor, it is supposed to be well designed and the radiation outside the two conductor pieces it's spourius, etc... Nevertheless, I don't know much about electromagnetic interferences and less about it's applications in the real world. I haven't be asked to work in that area.

the capacitor is there to filter noise, the voltage comming in or out of those chips there migth be sudden restarts or usb devices complaining about usb power, stuff like that , most likely nothing will happen, ever for peace of mind, if you find the replacement part, replace it, otherwise, it works
the capacitor is there to filter voltages going in or out of that chip, as you see, it works without it perhaps is for a usb port? ram? migth make it randomly restart, or migth not happen anything ever
@@Alb_881 it filters noise in the voltsge, and in the worst case, no bsod, a ful reset very rare, specially on those chips, it should be fine once i removed a bunch of dead capacitors around a cpu, the thing worked just fine notahing guaranteed, better to replace the part, but if is a filter in paralel, nothing will happen, probably, lol
That particular capacitor is for rf noise filtering. It will not influence in any other way the circuit. He has the experience to replace the component if it’s truly needed. By all means if you have time to search for schematics and capacitor values (if they are available online) you can replace it.
the reason is he has to search for the schemaric if he can find one, find the values of the caps , find and took out from donor boards . It will be a time consuming and boring 2 hours video. 😅
