I love how Commander O'Neil and Commander Niall are literally just people with normal human names yet they're the only boss names nobody can pronounce properly

22:00 The moment I've been waiting for ever since he walked into Godfrey's ring.

Serosh, the beast regent, was grafted to Godfrey in oreder to supress his battle lust and fury. A theory I have is that Serosh conveys Godfrey's stronger emotions. So while Godfrey's only responce to seeing his dead son might have been "It's been a long while, Morgott", Serosh might have conveyed his true emotions. A roar of anger and sorrow.

I remember when I got to the second phase, Serosh is climbing off Godfrey and taking form I was like "I'm going to fight the lion!?". And then...Godfrey becomes Hoarah Loux. His transformations speaks for itself.

The WWE energy of Horah Loux is ridiculous and I love it

Morgott was a worthy heir to Godfrey, but damn the man has muscles. Despite first timing the old man with Bloody Helice and Godskin Stitcher I will be forever in awe at the might of the first Elden Lord. Reactions to him pulling out wrestling moves is always priceless though. It's astounding that sheer perfection of a melee build bossfight that he is is in the same game as Malenia, probably one of the worst bosses because of the cheese.

Gideon has every spells you turn in. Plus Bricky seem to have forgotten the genocide Gideon committed to gain 1/2 of the medallion to get to Haligtree.

That final attempt on Godfrey was beautifully executed. Bricky fully embraced his inner Gamer and put on an impressive show. Bravo!

In my opinion, Godfrey is the best boss in the game. His design is fantastic. This fight is epic AF.

By far my favourite boss, I absolutely love his fall from grace and return to it, his regret for margott and mohg and the fact that they show that you are his final obstacle before ascension.

Godfrey was Marika's first husband which she used to secure her realm and which she exiled alongside his immortal (as if ressurecting after death) army to fight abroad and generally struggle and become better warriors and whatnot but before he married her he was a chieftain of wild people called Horrah Loux, Godfrey is basically his identity not as a berserker but as Marika's king consort. So basically tarnished are people stripped of the grace of Erdtree and Marika but after shattering they see grace, some weak enough to only lead of Lands Between, some strong enough to reach Roundtable hold and the strongest still ressurect and are led from place to place based on where they are supposed to go to struggle for the title of Elden Lord. So Horrah Loux = Godfrey = general of the tarnished.

I don't know if you have beaten the game already or not, but there are a few places/things I'd highly recommend to do before you fight the last boss ( or do in a bonus video ) . I won't spoil what it is, just how to get to them: 1: There is a portal in the snowy area far northwest that takes you to a new area. 2: In the snowy area, there is a small town that also will lead you to another big area. 3: Go back to Limgrave ( any grace near the mistwood ) and look around, there might be something :) ) 4: In the Stormy/tornado place ( Faram azula something ) you can get to a platform right by the giant tornado, and there is something you can do there, and yes, it is REALLY worth it!

Chadfrey the First Giga Chad

Even after playing countless times, Chadfrey is still my favourite boss.

I wonder if he's ever going to finish the unfinished questlines he did before fighting the final boss.

18:58 LORE TIME (Possibly spoilers) Godfrey was originally this mad lad barbarian named Hoarah Loux, and Marika wanted him to be Elden Lord. However dude was too hardcore so they basically separated him from his more bestial nature, which then took the form of Serrosh, (his stand). So yeah, him killing Serosh is basically him reverting to his hardcore self before he became Elden Lord.

Love that Godfrey is like “you beat me, you’ve earned the right as Lord, I’m not bitter.” Lordship is earned with strength and he recognised that, if he lost then he just wasn’t the strongest and thus wasn’t Lord.

While you were claiming Great Runes, I was collecting Grimoir. While you were touching grace I was grazing the secrets of the gods. While you were getting maidens, I was studying the staff and the seal. And now, you come to me and try to claim my title? The title of Elden Lord? It's funny bricky talked about gideon getting more spells the more you tell him or do in the game, because that's *exactly* what he does.

The more i watch elden ring videos, the more i see cool bits like callbacks for moves. I mean just look at the move where Godfrey drags his axe on the ground, godrick was imitating him when we fought him!

There were many speculations and theory, but basically Gideon saw something that made him change his mind about becoming Elden Lord and preventing the tarnished to become one as well. What Gideon saw or the revelation he experienced I forgot...

The best part about this episode: Bricky doesn't get seriously mad at Godfrey. He is seriously enjoying the boss, and isn't actually finding any part of it seriously annoying. Compare this to Laurence in Bloodborne, where I'm pretty sure Bricky was ready to commit a homicide because of him.

41:31 actually the hue of his eyes fading refers to him being divested of grace by marika who had consolidated her power and sent him away to return later as part of her plan. That’s why grace you pick up looks more like an iris of an eyeball the stronger it gets. Tarnished have lost this quality and that’s why people can tell by looking at you. They see it as you having been rejected by the order which is why they’re so rude as well.
