In 40 years of RCing, this is by the most beautiful, the most authentic looking, that most fascinating model I’ve seen. Congratulations to the builder or builders.

For a minute, I imagined what it would be like to fly into the real Do X back in 1929. Thank you for that moment.

Finally, a video showing a scale model flying in scale fashion. Too many of these guys don't know how to fly properly, with extremely overpowered aircraft zipping through ridiculous maneuvers. This guy can fly.

A very convincing flight at as close to a scale speed as is safe, and those lovely four strokes purring away. I’ve been flying for over fifty years now (holy shit!) and this probably is the best scale display I’ve seen. Pay no attention to the few idiotic comments, I guess they can’t help it. Thank you for sharing this.

Most beautiful RC model sound I ever heard!

I am a flying boat fan and an RC modeler. I remember seeing the pictures of this original aircraft and thinking what an insane project it would be to build an RC of that plane, and here it is. Just wow.

That is astounding. I commend the contructor of this breathtaking aircraft, especially so for using proper engines! Hearing 12 shrill electric motors whining would've been an anticlimax...

What a spectacular model,and what an achievement to get TWELVE engines running simultaneously.As a modeller myself I know what a pain in the **se it can be to get one engine to do that.Outstanding,hats off to that man!

Apart from the fast takeoff it flies like the real one back in 30's, dull and gentle.

A beautiful aircraft and flight. Thank you for not designing it to be overpowered to the point of not flying close to how the actual would have flown. Since most have never seen a Dornier Do X fly, this scaled flight had to be most rewarding to those of us who have taken an interest in this aircraft.

This is beyond stunning. The owner and builder has balls the size of Berlin to do this with I/C engines instead of electric motors: Trying to get them all started, keep them running, the logistics of fuel supply to TWELVE ENGINES, etc. etc. Just incredible. Das ist mehr als atemberaubend. Der Besitzer und Erbauer hat Eier so groß wie Berlin, um so etwas mit Verbrennungsmotoren statt Elektromotoren zu machen: Alle Motoren zu starten, sie am Laufen zu halten, die Logistik der Treibstoffversorgung für ZWÖLF MOTOREN, usw. Einfach unglaublich.
