My Mom and her twin brother were born on ground hogs day! For several years they got their picture taken together, and it was posted in the Milwaukee sentinel newspaper on groundhogs day! 💕

My ex was 181st airborne. My hubby is a (old) Marine, and said the same thing...,,how could he jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Hubby was also a pilot.

Oh my my husband and I met in November and was married in August. Now we've been married for 51 years this past August. We live in Bremerton Washington now. We've been in our first house since1976. My husband was in the service for 6 years. Mike was a Navy man on a submarine. We spent time in Hawaii for 3 years. Was so glad to get back home on real land.

My stars! A true testament is when all that racket was happening, you two just continued on like it was a normal everyday accurance, well it is, you two have created such a beautiful group of people. Hi all! 64 was a great year and we both are Baby Boomers. I don`t think Gigi is a Boomer or not. My husband was born in Riverside California! He is a retired Navy Corpsman for 30 + years. I just love hearing your stories. Gigi reminds me of my mama. I miss her so much. She passed right before my daughter was born. Who shares a birthday with Gigi. 2/2/08. She is also the only granddaughter on my side with all her cousins were boys. My mom and dad had 4 girls. We all had boys and I had the only girl. She gives me a run for my money at 15.
"You ain't riding Johnny! " Hahaha! PawPaw you crack me up! GiGi, imagine moving from podunk, almost all-white, small town Idaho to big city, melting pot, Bay Area, California in 1979!! At age 8. Where it use to the occasional ethnic person in town, suddenly I became the minority! It was an eye-opening education that I am so grateful for. I learned so much. You talk about the clothes and boy-howdy! Don't I know that one!my country bumpkin clothes just didn't fit in in the city! What made it worse was the fact that we were poor and I was a big girl. My parents shopped second hand stores and all that fit me were throwbacks from the 60s! So, you have a country bumpkin dressing like it's the 60s living in the big city growing up in the late 70s, early 80s learning about other cultures for the first time and what it's like to be a minority all while going through her tweens and early teens!! Still, I wouldn't trade that experience for anything! ❤
Oh, and we had a baby calf when I was 7 that tossed me off the board fence onto his back and proceeded to run and buck with me on his back for a good 5 minutes! I was facing backwards and couldn't get off. He ran under his shelter and I'm lucky I didn't hit my head! My sister was the only witness to it. We were try to choose his name. We settled on Frisky. 😂😂😂
