You're welcome my friend, I'm very happy Gigi became a regular on your channel and we will be able to enjoy future performances by her together... I'm always curios what will be next, because as we know she can sing any style and genre... it's impossible to predict her, I wonder if she could handle a song by Led Zeppelin who are one of my favorite bands of all time with an incredible vocalist... I'm sure she could master it, that would be so amazing...
Yes, Gigi & the band are from the Philippines., she is a finalist in a singing competition in a tv show, shes also an actress, model, pls react to her cover of Through the fire, Better days, Burrterfly, Saving all my love for, All by myself, to name a few
Welcome to Gigi de Lana and Gigi Vibes music world! All I can say is that she’s an amazing artist same with her band. Pls check her “Through the fire + Piano in the dark”. Thank you so much!
Fly Me to the Moon, originally titled "In Other Words", is a song written in 1954 by Bart Howard. Kaye Ballard made the first recording of the song in the year it was written. Frank Sinatra's version came out in 1964. For me this is childhood sentiment. My grandparents had the Kay Ballard version on LP and my parents later had the Frank Sinatra version. I like this version by Gigi De Lana she is a good singer , but prefer the Frank Sinatra version. 💖
Nice reactions my friend..welcome to gigi de lana.she’s one of the best in the philippines.please react on this through the fireXpiano in the dark.thanks
Thank you for reacting, glad you liked her my friend, but as I know you love the song and she definitely is a good singer, there could nothing go wrong... I listened to the song you linked by Birsen Tezer, very beautiful! The technique Gigi displayed in the end, singing on just syllables without actual meaning, like a-do-be-do-doo, deno lo deno denolo a dubidoo... is called "scat", "scatting" in Jazz music where it is used a lot, Haley Reinhart uses it quite often, also in "Creep" - there is a story about her when she was a baby and could not even speak, her Daddy, who is a professional musician always would scat at her and Baby Haley would scat back at him, that's how she became a Jazz singer, training her feeling for rhythm and modulation at a very young age... I could not hear Birsen Tezer do any scatting in this song, but as she is also singing Jazz as you said she sure will have pieces where she uses this style... -I will explore her more another evening, tonight I'm going to Russia where talented young singer Dina Veles will do a livestream for several hours as every Saturday evening: I link her stream, if you want to attend and say "Hello" in the chat you're welcome, you need not be there all the time, just have a look if you like, Dina will chat with her followers and sing songs on request, and also play violin when she feels like it. Pavel suggested her and she's really worth watching, amazing young artist! Dina Veles stream: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pPArwofRxaY.html
