Apart from being controlling, I feel like their mom is living vicariously through them. The career which she never really had, she's seeing it manifest before her eyes, and she's doing that through Gigi and Bella.
@@lexhdz5803 what I mean is that, she never really had the level of fame her children have attained in modelling and possibly contemporary pop culture. When models of the past generation are mentioned, I've never heard her name TBH. I just know that she's their mother. So she's really pushing them.

And Bella too. She has the same mom but on top of that extremely toxic, controlling environment she’s also always been compared to her sister by their mom. Bella has said that Yolanda always favoured Gigi because she was the “pretty” one which is complete bullshit since they’re both gorgeous supermodels. Compare that to Kris Jenner who is also rich and influential and has really famous daughters, unlike Yolanda she genuinely seems like a good caring mother who just wants the best for her kids and lets them make their own decisions. At least from what I’ve seen Yolanda seems like a really toxic parent.

That and a few other videos show how little Yolanda actually knows about nutrition and diets. She's so afraid of cake that she doesn't even want to have a crum like it's gonna make her or Gigi fat. That little piece of cake was 200kcal max. 200kcal are like 30g of body fat that you would gain if they are on top of the calories you burned that day. 30g of body fat are literally nothing. One piece of cake will never make you fat. But than again what am I expecting from the woman who has lemon water for a meal...
No u should never assume a person just becuz of their parents , rather we should think that she learnt frm her mother things to do things that should not be done.
My mother was horrid to me growing up and still is well into my 30s now but if she EVER dictated the size of a piece of cake I could eat ohhhhhh my gosshhhh I would of slapped her silly.
when i see this video, it makes me very sure that yolanda was behind gigi and zayn's split. i dont think zayn would push yolanda over sharing khai's photos to the paps. yolanda must hve made a hue and cry over it and gigi made the decision of the breakup
listen, hitting people is wrong but if I was zayn I would punch Yolanda too, she's constantly controlling Gigi, she literally only talks about fame and her weight 24/7 and she has no respect for her granddaughters privacy, I wish Gigi would just cut ties she really does not need her mother for anything and you can tell she really just wants her mom's approval :/
