@@aazulet1187 Yeah, we can count Kiara in that too. She gave up her dream and it "Fired Up" again with Hololive. But, Gigi story is more closely related to Nenechi. Well, Nene's story also has "lost dream" story as her group disbanded during COVID years. Gigi doesn't seem to have that story, but she have "Unwavering Love" to the concept of idol.
@@cefcephatus Kiara it's kinda different, she only auditioned one time for holo (like all myth girls) and get in, i'ts a very nice coincidence because knowing kiara, i don't really think that if she were rejected that time, she'd still trying
@@juanpabloyarceescobar6359 She talked about her dream of becoming an idol being destroyed long ago in a stream 4 years back. She then had many normal job and faced a problem with airline job during Covid. That sounds unrelated to not being accepted to Hololive, but HoloEN back then wasn't a thing, it was like Gen 0 all over again, that's why rejection didn't happen.
Hearing members like Gigi talking about auditioning 4 times, or Fuwamoco auditioning 5 times makes me really appreciate their stubbornness. I'm very happy that they managed to get in.
Biboo was three times. Watame was 4, Nene was at least 4- might have been more. If you are trying to get in you should not give up hope- keep trying. Also, Biboo has mentioned that while she auditioned three times the first time she knew she would not get in- she had no content creator experience and hand known about Hololive even for that long. But she auditioned anyway because she thought the experience of doing it would be beneficial, and it was.
@@rafaelcarrasco2600Raden got picked after her first audition and she had 0 streaming experience, barely played games too. Raden is probably one of the few in Holo who got in first try (which is saying something when so many incredible members got in AFTER a handful of tries)

Each generation I get that same feeling. First Gura, then Fauna (and later Bae), then Biboo and now Gigi (and Ceci too lmao). I know it's a lot of oshis, but man I just want them to succeed and be happy. They're awesome.

I'm no idol, but having done theatre for years, it's not so different... you put hundreds of hours into practicing your lines - not just the words but the inflections, the positioning of your body, the volume and tone - all for a single weekend of glory and applause. It's incredibly hard work, and why I like to say I do my best to support EVERYONE in Hololive, because I respect their dedication to their craft and their determination to bring a smile to everyone's faces.
I still remember so many people say that "Love Live is dumb and it ain't worth watching at all". And yet, here is Gigi, who watched it, started to love Idols cause of it, wanted to become one, and literally got to because of Love Live. Thnak you Love Live, for making me a fan myself for so long, and for making GG's dreams come true
it's always nice hearing new members talk about how it still feels unreal to them that they're already a hololive idol and are about to be on stage performing to thousands of people
On their debut I war really into Liz cause her voice and aura is so damnnn 👌🔥 then other members of justice debut raora can draw Ceci can play violin then I thought Gigi is just normal energetic vtuber so im not that into her at first.. then I watched one clip of her then that's it now I cant start my day without watching Gigi she's just like a energy ball of light hahaha..
Big thanks to her previous employers for letting her go too. I'm sure she was still knee deep in her contract and giving her the opportunity to be in 3D in her final days to be with her friends before meeting the glue factory.
Their statement announcing her graduation was actually the sweetest, most genuine graduation announcement I’ve ever seen. They would sad she left but it seems to be on as good terms as you could hope for

Reminds me of Fuwamoco's auditions. Lots of these Holomems, before they joined, have push themselves to keep going and trying. It's always nice to hear that they've made it. To whoever is still trying to audition for Hololive, just keep trying. I know the HoloID4 auditions have been going on for almost over a year now, so to whoever they are, do your best!

In my head I always think Indies and Small Corpos who have big dreams outside of getting famous were all aiming to become part of Hololive. You only have 4-5 chances out of tens of thousands who apply each year to become part of it. Once your there the journey of becoming an Idol will begin and it is up to you how far or high you can become.
@@a_kuma It's all about the vision they had in their minds when picking a talent. The themes and characters are established first before the model and they pick the most fitting for said character and which one they think will bring in new audience and money to cover Corp.

It's called persistence. Honestly it's a good trait to have. Employers like workers who are motivated and determined to try over and over again despite being denied.
One of the big factor obviously the Council era. Council members are all talented or with unique stuff. Fauna unique girly feminine voice, Mumei's smartness+good voice+good drawing, Bae dance skill, Kronii rizz, Sana cheerful and love to troll Kronii. Also Sana is a competitive pokemon gamer
look, im gonna be real honest here. these girls are all comedians. until they are up on stage THEN they are idols. and then its back the laughs and gaffs. its a natural back and forth transitional period for the comedic idols you see!🧐 also it may just be the contrast of colors, but Gigi's eyebrows look grey. also, does she like have a periodic lisp? ive been watching since she debuted and im just now noticing sometimes her "S" sounds a little different. its cute!

Something that i realized about Advent and Justice is that most of them still have the fanss mindset compared to previous gen, both gen still thinks “omg i’m in hololive, can’t believe it even it has been a year omg” but the previous gen feels more professional i guess?
The debuts of myth and council were relatively close, the first batch of EN was kinda different, holo was a thing but it was more of a niche thing(currently still is but the scale is considerably bigger now), there was doubts about how the "hololive" thing would behave in the EN market, the talents would be attractive? Anime girls talking english instead of japanese? It was a completely new thing, so the overseas fans were or excited or exceptic about it has potential or the vtuber thing only would work with japanese, myth put down the foundations and council look at the success of myth and surely that encourages them to join, but their debuts were not so appart of each other, so the "fan mindset" weren't super strong, the thing is that after council, a lot of time passed without any new gen, obviously the girls interested in join keep trying and meanwhile, holoEN grew a lot more, concerts, 3d models, hundreds of thousands subscribers, merch, etc. So the girls that look up to holo probably with all that time that passed, the fad minset like u described grew more strong inside her. It's the exact same case with JP, Holo dev_is girls surely right now are still super excited that they could join holo, but in past gens for example gamers, it was more of a very simple thing
