In this video, you see the Giglio at night in Williamsburg, Brookyln, New York outside of the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This video is part of my July 2023 New York Vacation. More will follow this one! I show you guys some clips that I edited together from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel (OLMC) Feast. It is an Italian feast with great music. Lots of men lift the Giglio and Boat every summer. *We honor Our Blessed Mother, Mary and Saint Paulinus of Nola when we lift the Giglio and the Boat.* The Italian word "Giglio" translates to "Lilly" in English. If you would like to know a whole lot more, you can read up on the entire history of this great Italian, religious tradition! It is awesome! This was the second lift of three.
