Got watch Gilbert his entire career here in Washington we were season ticket holders me and my dad would go to games. Gil, butler, Jamison and everyone else were great to me. One time I went to watch love don’t cost a thing with my older cousin and his friends. Gilbert was sitting in front of me, I tell him I’m a big fan he says he appreciates it and that was it of the interaction. 5 mins in the movie him and the girl leave the theatre. I was confused nobody but me knew who he was. My cousin and his friends weren’t basketball people. Later on I realized that wasn’t his wife and he must’ve gotten paranoid lol.

NBA players play 41 road games, sometimes back to back. It would not work but also be impossible to enforce on NBA players. Their union is also stronger and one player can make a difference about team rules. NFL players play once a week on a set day. There's also 53 players and not all of them play offense, defense, or special teams. Their union is weak, their pay is not guaranteed, they can be cut in a second, and there is only one important position on the team. A lot easier to control.
