Glad you liked it! Indeed, my need for such effects comes from looking for ways to immitate the percussive elements that i hear in my head in any given section, such as a drumset or a group of people clap together.
If you mean with the harp, there are plenty! The Ginastera concerto has a great part, plenty of Salzedo compositions and Tango by Damase are just a few examples
I just found out that I am to perform this at a festival in a couple of months....thank goodness for your wonderful recording. I will be watching it often. Masterful playing!!
This is so fucking coooool whaaaat!!! I’ve never heard a harp played like that plus strumming on a cello wowow so cool

This is such a great piece, and played so amazingly well! I was teaching it to my harp student's chamber group at UBC, and they were all ready to perform it, but the COVID 19 virus put an end to that. Maybe next year, I hope.
Amazing video! What a load of original ideas. Wow does 6:52 slap and so does 10:40! I really think this is the future of 'classical' music. Chamber compositions for 'weird' or non-traditional instrumentations (aka not a string quartet). Great work, got anything else planned?
Thank you! And non-traditional instrumentations are definitely a thing in contemporary concert music!
@@giladcom Wow those are incredible. Keep making incredible music! I just completed a duet for Bass Clarinet and Cello and was looking if there were any similar compositions on the internet. It's my most recent video if you'd liek to take a look! I'll definately share this, it's so fun.
