Story: Elena and Emlia Gilbert get into a deadly car crash, both of them survive, but their parents didn't. Elena ist just fine, but Emlia is in a coma for a long time, finally she wakes up, Elena tries to tell her about all the supernatural things, that have happend since she was gone. But Emlia already knew that there were Vampires, because she already met Damon two years ago in Spain. But then there is someone named Jules, that Emlia falls in love with. They share a gift, which only twins have. However Emlia turns into a Vampire and Jules dies in a battle between the werewolfs and vampires. Emlia can't really realize what is happening around her an takes herbs from a witch, which let her see her only love. But that doesn't end so well…. Damon helps her a lot in that difficult time...

Emlia und Elena Gilbert. Jeder kennt die Gilbert Zwillinge. Sie haben eigentlich ein perfektes Leben. Viele Freunde, gut in der Schule, perfekte Familie. Doch das änderte sich alles schlagartig, mit dem schweren Autounfall, bei dem ihre Eltern ums Leben kamen. Elena muss lange Zeit ohne ihre Eltern und ihre Schwester auskommen, da diese, seit dem tragischen Unfall, im Koma liegt. Doch was hat Emlia alles verpasst, wenn sie wieder aufwacht? Und was hat es mit dem seltsamen Ereignis an sich, das bei dem Autounfall passiert ist? Es war ein Gefühl... kann man wirklich von einem Gefühl süchtig werden? Jules, ein unbekannter, mysteriöse Junge hat viel damit zu tun und weiß genau, von was er spricht. Eine der Zwillinge wird sich hoffnungslos in eine verbotene Leidenschaft verlieben und vielleicht auch in denjenigen, der alles damit zu tun hat. Die Zwillinge haben viel zu verkraften und werden viel über ihre Herkunft und Schicksal erfahren.
