When I listened to the song on spotify all I can hear is Martins line. They singing it wrong it's with many awful facts... Oh dear God what have Frasier done with me. I never listened to Gilbert and Sullivan before.
Kind of sad episode when Martin thinks Frasier and Niles isn't his biological sons. I felt sorry for him when he realized it could be a possibility. I liked the ending and I think Leland knew what Martin thought.
Every great show requires one depressing episode at least. This had it here and in the Niles heart surgery episode. Fresh Prince of Bel Air had it in the legendary scene after Will Smith's father left him again. Everybody Loves Raymond had it in the final episode. Friends kinda had it when Rachel was about to leave for Paris right when the audience thought Ross and her were finally going to end up together
@Daidi Fanta Or MASH when MacLean Stevenson died or Home Improvement when Al's mom died or also on Fresh Prince when Will had to take the gun from Carlton etc. Phil Rosenthal has said that the dramatic moments helps the comedy. "It helps ground these people as people and makes the next joke much funnier"
@@awfan221 It was quite a departure when Seinfeld nonchalantly killed off a character like it was a typical episode subplot and made a gag of it. They poked fun at all the "very special" episodes over the years, but it was in line with the obnoxious and shallow characters on the show. They even trolled viewers making the last episode not really have much happening in it, after months of wild speculation and fan theories about characters moving, marrying, giving birth, etc., like typical series finales.
Funny thing - when I got to play Cogsworth in a college production of Beauty & the Beast I played him more like David Hyde Pierce as Niles Crane - uptight and deadpan. And here's the original voice together with DHP. But then, two three-named actors called David...
i laughed so hard for so long at this scene It made me laugh-cry. i wanted to see the reaction of the actors so i kept rewinding, but i couldnt keep my eyes open because i kept laughing that i couldnt see the faces XD

I dont know if this is true, but I remember reading somewhere that part of the reason this episode was made was because one of the criticisms against Frasier was that it was just a rehash of Stiers' character Winchester from MASH
R.I.P. John Mahoney and David Ogden Steirs On Frasier John as Marty crane and David Ogden Steirs he was only A guest on frasier but he was on the show M.A.S.H. But He’ll be missed Marty crane he was gay in real life and they were both old that’s for sure
Actually there is no evidence if John Mahoney was gay to not He never discussed it and he never made a statement about it. Like Langston Hughes. We'll never know if he was gay or asexual.
