Childrens presenters and puppets come and go but I cant believe the world carried on without Gilbert. But to sum up the fickle world of showbiz , he was in a prog with Roland Rat (and where is HE now!) & they talked gibberish & tried to outdo each other.
Gilbert was the best. Absolute crack up and was doing weird non-sequitur stuff a full decade before it became 'the norm'. "My husband and I would now like to turn into an eggplant." Gilbert once said impersonating the queen and apropos of absolutely nothing =D
Amazing I thought I'd watched all of Gilberts RU-vid clips......and now I watch this. I remember watching get fresh with a regular hangover Great Days. Cheers.

I remember this show growing up that and another was going live before it became live and kicking but the most legendary episode of going live was a caller phoning in and called 5 star a fake.
