"Gildedguy & the Dragon of Mar" by Gildedguy Reaction! 

Mar is the representation of his creator, Barthimo1. The dragon is a curse, representing what Barth did; taking, consuming, it was a monster. Mar was too scared to confront himself and his fears that he accepted the monster that he became. Then, after the dragon finally died, when there was finally nothing stopping Mar from making things right, the consequences were faster to act, resulting in Sable, the greedy girl, killing Mar in revenge.

Cool detail. In the final battle Gilded guy’s cape both on him and his mech are made from the flesh inside the dragon which is how it reflects the fire like with door the townspeople had.

What I think is clever is when gilded guy is drawing inside the dragon there's a softer version of the song that played in the origin episode episode 0 in the background

Animating a 2d model onto a 3d model is sorta difficult depending how fast or how to make it blend it so it looks like it's there and not separate parts bc what you can do is animate the 2 d models separately and then add the 3d model backgrounds and combine them together and other steps too

Btw mar (the dude that turns into the dragon) is a dude he just has long hair

Yay! We're back again with more of Gilded Guy! I believe this was one of the first videos of yours that I commented on so I suppose we're going full circle in a way! This is a MASSIVE video and journey so I'll provide timestamps as I make my notes!: 2:58 Yeah, I got the feeling that Mar doesn't really WANT to be a Dragon but for some reason became one. The idea that his human body rejects the gold he ate is pretty cool though... but still rather gross 5:04 I love how Gilded Guy just immediately starts hammering on the door like *"GIMME MY FUDGING SWORD BACK!"* 5:51 I think he was trying to ask "What KIND of Star are you looking for?" because I guess there are multiple different shapes of stars 6:45 Aside from the delicious looking stew, there also seems to be some wintery gloves Mar sewed for Gilded Guy. Which is very nice considering he didn't have anything on before and is literally in a snowy mountain. 7:27 *S P A C E* is always beautiful 8:49 Since he couldn't find the Green Star (Stellapent I believe it's called) in the sky, he decided to look at the one on his pen... which somehow allowed him to look into his past? As well as his future. (This is my favourite non-fight scene. The music is just legendary here!) 10:05 I cannot describe how happy/ relieved this scene made me feel. Seeing Gilded Guy FINALLY get his reward after all that he has been through, reaching the star and getting his epic glow up is just so satisfying!... If only Mar wasn't busy having a Gold related stroke... I also respect how Gilded Guy seemed willing to hide/ sacrifice his reward to hopefully save Mar... 12:29 I noticed that Gilded Guy has this weird "Teardrop with an X across it" logo in his eyes. This seems to show up a bunch throughout the video but I'm not quite sure what it means. Hopelessness? Defeat? Sadness? 14:30 I think this whole moment is trying to represent how the "hole" inside you, the greed and want for more is insatiable no matter what Gilded Guy tries to "feed" or "hide" it with. Meanwhile, Mar's is just complete wide open as the Dragon exists solely to "feed" his greed with piles and piles of Gold. 16:00 Seems like all that the Dragon was interested in was Gold and so just stripped Gilded Guy's armor of all of it. Also, can we talk about how he just survived a flipping DRAGON?! I know he's faced plenty of other foes before but I think a gigantic dragon has got to be up there on the power scale! All while in classic Knight armour made with a soft metal with a relatively low melting point.. 18:17 I can't get over how much Gold this Dragon has. The hoard outside his body is HUGE! And then there's an equally huge hoard INSIDE his stomach too! This Dragon's probably richer than some Kings! 19:13 I also just can't get over how ridiculously HUGE that one girl's eyes are! It's so comically larger than everyone else's! So hilarious and adorable! 20:49 I wonder if it's pure coincidence or destiny that the insides of this dragon has a shape similiar to Gilded Guy's Star. Either way, it helps remind him about what it is he's here for, what he's fighting for, and why... And so he does what he can and draws his life... 21:43 I almost had a heart attack here thinking this was where the video ended. We waited so long for this one! You can't just leave me here on another Epic Cliffhanger! 22:00 *TWO Song Battles in ONE Gilded Guy video? NOW we're getting ambitious!* 22:40 Yeah, seeing all of Gilded Guy's friends trying to survive this absolute behemoth of a Dragon is both crazy and depressing. Especially Lillian (Gilded Guy's Number One Fan) trying to stop the fire with his watering can! 23:24 *Gilded Guy creating a 3D Modelled Mech inside the Stomach of a Dragon is the most random yet epic thing I've ever seen!* Also, side note but his cape is apparently the guts of said Dragon! Cool but also gross... 27:40 I've heard this whole Dragon of Mar thing is a parallel to something that happened in real life, but since I don't know the details I can't really say how much. At first I thought the Greedy Girl with all those Gold rings around her somehow "summoned" this dragon to feed her greed or something. But judging by other comments it sounds like she was a victim just as much as everyone else. She was just okay with it until this moment where she says how everyone else feels so bad for her, making HER realize just what a terrible thing she's gone through. And finally of course... rage at the "Culprit" 28:40 Yup, quite the mixed feelings for Gilded Guy I suppose. On the one hand he saved the town... on the other hand, he couldn't save Mar. Seems like the bad deeds caught up to him before he could do anything about it. 29:20 And so they rebuild better than ever before! The Town looks upgraded and of course Gilded Guy gets himself a flipping Castle! Finally! He is truly rewarded for his actions and gets all that he wanted and deserved! 29:35 I find it funny that Oxob is on the "Star" list despite beating the fudge out of Gilded Guy. Obviously it was somewhat cathartic for both of them but still hilarious that Gilded Guy basically went "Beat the flip out of me and caused me a ton of pain... 10/10 Friend". Meanwhile Fry, that one hater dude and the bees are on the "banned" list. 30:17 I don't know if they've said if this is the final story or not. But it certainly feels very conclusive! Gilded Guy has finally gotten his happy ending I suppose! This episode was truly quite the magical journey! If this is the end, it's definitely a great finale! If not, I'm excited for a new era of Gilded Guy! The amount of wonderful animated stories people come up with on the internet is just incredible!
