Btw this is just another Fate English Dub Highlight video from Fate/Strange Fake because I'm still high on that F/SF copium and I seriously hope we gonna get a date announcemnt soon! Plus you guys seemed to like my previous video on Jack The Ripper's English Dub so I hope you enjoy this one too! 😳
Shout-out to Gilgamesh's English VA, which is non other than David Vincent! For those who aren't familiar with this name he is the voice for Kento from Jujutsu Kaisen, Grimmjow from Bleach and Senketsu from Kill la Kill, needless to say he is a legend in the English VA scene and it just makes sense he is voicing the king himself 👑

That is Gilgamesh for you. One of the things he always enjoy was a good fight with Enkidu under more friendly terms. No bad infleunce being involved forcing their hand to fight each other, just fighting each other to see who is stronger as friends even if it kills them.

@@lunerblade13 I am not sure man, goldy Gilgamesh calls everyone a Mongrel, so I think it depends on his mood and if said mongrels knows who Gil is and starts to lick his shoes instantly in consequence but with honesty, I mean he likes flatterers, but honest flatterers whon don't have ulterior motives, sometimes he also like people who confronts him, but likes them in the way that they will kill them instantly without much pain, however he kinda hates cowards for him those are the worst kind of mongrel, nontheless he is a psycho and can start to kill people without much of a reason too, young adult Gil is the worst Gil of all. XD

Strange Fake Gil is definitely my favorite version of the King of Heroes. He's got all the arrogance and dickery of his Archer self while still being intelligent and wise like Caster Gil. Also his relationship with his Master is actually kinda cute since he basically told her "Kids should be kids so sit back and enjoy watching me kick some Mongrel ass."

which is funny cause he's actually a good(ish) guy here. The Gilgameshs we see in stay night and zero are the only evil versions of him in the franchise from what I remember. every other one is either neutral or just straight good.

And despite being his less wise and younger self he alongside Iskander pointed out every single flaw with Artoria's philosophy in a matter of a couple minutes.

Also I don't know where it's written, but Gilgamesh is an ass to everyone is because he's adamant to be the sole observer and judge of humanity as the gods intended, he disrespected the gods because they would taint his view and he berates humanity so no human would be his friend, thus muddying his judgement of humanity as a whole. Tl;dr: The gods got what they wanted, but not in the way they hoped for.

I love David Vincent’s portrayal of Gil. While Seki-san makes him sound like an prideful yet arrogant ruler meant to be revered and feared all the same, David really brings out the pompous gravitas of Gilgamesh. He sounds bored yet also intimidating and like an absolute *asshole* but I love it.
