What I'm hearing is a long pattern of Rex Heuermann relying on cops to cover for his grisly crimes. He knew that local police would ignore the sex workers he targeted and give him the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad that this lawyer is following the threads all the way back to the 1990s. The victim's families deserve justice.
I'm now watching every interview he's given. He's doing this out of the goodness of his heart against the years of obstruction by the Suffolk police. Attorney Ray is a hero.
I think he knows this is a lot BIGGER than one suspect. Maybe not at first, but as his private investigation progressed, he discovered a massive cover-up by parties that should not have been involved. Forget the police incompetence; we're talking about a concerted effort to obfuscate not only the murders but possibly a sex death ring. The investigators and the chief may have figured this out, too. If the FEDs get involved (again), then this case will shock the city, county, and possibly the state to its core. I'm not referring to the FBI, but the IRS. Remember, "Follow the money..." I bet more than one suspect will be named before this is over, and I would not be surprised if more suspects are in the halls of justice, law enforcement, and government.
Yes, he is SO courageous for pursuing the truth in this sordid mess. I think most people would be afraid to do what he is doing. It is obvious that both the new Commissioner and this Mr. Ray are both really trying to find the truth. Thank God they are doing this because, if they don’t, more people will die. God protect them both.
They know the street and how much stigma it is behind having sold your body. If this lawyer gets these witnesses to come forward because he treats them with respect. The ones who are the creeps are the johns.
His wife's hair on one of the victims led to his arrest. It reminds me of the Netflix documentary series about Monique Olivier, the wife of serial killer Michel Fourniret. It's much harder to prosecute women for such crimes.
That's about the only thing I got out of this. 20/20 did an entire program on the LISK and the cop thing was looked at. Yes, its clear to me that some of a police dept were either helping him out or covering for him. If this witness is on the up and up, the wife will take the rap as well.
Well it was very possible her hair got on victims because she lived there. She didn’t have to be involved. But now that we know she was involved in swinging at one time, and was aware of the prostitutes it’s very difficult to explain away that she never noticed one going missing or saw evidence of the crime in their home etc. It seems like after having their daughter she may have lost interest in swinging and allowed her husband to do whatever with prostitutes. Which means she had a good idea what was going on and turned a blind eye. That makes her complicit in my opinion. Maybe she did help a few times in disposal of evidence or harm a prostitute etc. Maybe she didn’t. Maybe she just focused on the kids but you can’t convince me that she had no idea he was torturing and murdering prostitutes. At first many assumed he only did it when she was away but she knows more than she has told.
Asa's shitty attitude to the public is because she knows the truth will come to light. She is very much involved with these murders. All of the people that rushed to protect her looked like fools, especially now.

John Ray is a great man, one of the few lawyers I trust. He knows he is risking his ass by pursuing this. As for Commissioner Harris, I do NOT believe he is choosing to resign and it sickens me because he too is a GOOD man and we need men like him in ranking positions in LE.
Tho prostitution is not my gig personally, I've interviewed (I'm writing a book) 'working girls' to understand their 'choice' of careers. They are people too....someones' daughter, sister, mother.... They are human & deserve as much respect in treatment as anyone else. Way too often these girl's 'choice' was not their choice by their choice....they knew no other way, most were abused in youth & many try to drown their memories of horrors by their relatives with drugs & or drinking alcohol...., often neglected by the system while young as well, etc....many feel they're 'dirty' already from those who were suppose to care & protect them. Movies, for one of others, often portray these 'workers', some are girls, as worthless & unworthy of respect. No one does wrong in their right mind. Helping them help themselves allows them to change their careeers to a choice better, safer way of life. We need hugs, not slugs, a more compassionate way of assisting & viewing these gals. Attorney John Ray deserves a f💱ing medal for his work and perseverance through all of this. Without him, none of these connections could have been made, and he stayed fast to his intuition despite all sorts of attacks and negativity. He is a true dedicated servant to righteousness and for justice for the innocent.

If Rex really did engage in same sexual relations, I’m almost positive he killed that boy. And maybe that’s why Rex’s wife’s hair was found on the scene is because she was a participant in all of this.

Don’t know if you are aware of other podcasts about RH. I believe a lot of others involved. Also believe groups hunted these victims once they arrived at location’s. Residents of that area. One example is RH’s priest friend who abused him as a boy, and This priest’s big involvement with catholic charities. Police also Involved. I truly think hunting victims once they arrived was the game they were playing. This might be bigger than just RH. I think you have just captured one of them. This probably takesplace all over.

Sexual indiscretion is one thing, murder is another. Just because she may have been involved with swinging, doesn’t mean she knew about murder. She has been questioned extensively and cleared so let’s let the detectives do their job instead of accusing someone they believe is innocent of any knowledge of murder. We don’t know what she has told them. We do know she filed for divorce within days of his arrest.

So that counts for nothing. 2 police often question people multiple times for that reason first time she may have been cleared but when new evidence comes in she will be re questioned or charged .
