gili is the youngest male esc singer aged 12. Also, I love the idea of posting old esc videos as a tribute to the singers who have died, a great way to remember them.

Sadly, the female vocalist, Galit, passed away last month

I'm glad the ESC channel is paying their respects to past singers that we have sadly lost, but i wish they uploaded old performances for other reasons too. They should start reuploading performances from before 2009 or whenever they started uploading them in at least decent quality

Very sad to hear Galit passed away. I remember her and her performance with Gili at Eurovision 1989 very well, as it was one of my favorite songs that year. May she rest in peace.

Galit Burg-Michael has died on November 28th. The 54-year-old singer sadly passed away following a traffic collision in central Israel. Following her participation in Eurovision she would continue to perform in numerous bands and as a solo artist. She would perform as part of Tramp and under the name Galecia, in 2013 she participated in auditions for the X Factor Israel.

There should be an ''In memoriam'' video at every year's Final as a tribute to previous ESC singers and performers who have passed away.

A very sweet and positive song that inspires faith in happiness and a bright future. At least, that's my opinion. I don't understand Hebrew, but it's not necessary to know the language to feel the power of music. Peace to all! And rest in peace, Galit.

The first of two kiddy singers that year, and probably the reason why a minimum age was introduced hereafter. The angelic Gili, only 12, starts well, but stumbles over his words in the second verse and starts to unravel. There have been claims of sabotage by anti-Semitic sound engineers, but you’re always going to take a risk with such young performers. I do like this song though, and unlike Italy these two singers blend really well.
