I wanted to find out if Gili T was still alive. 3 weeks this island has been open and i can see how much it has struggled over the past few years. Many locals have left shut up their business and headed to the mainland for work. I think Gili T will be alive again i just don't know how soon they can make it happen.

The place where you left in the beginning of the vid looks like that place where that tourist viciously attacked that taxi driver in Bali a few months ago, that went viral. I may be wrong but it looks identical from the ctv footage of that incident? Anyone have any updates on what happened there? Did they catch that disgusting individual?

Just came Home from 3 weeks in Bali, Kuta, ubud and gili t. Thought it was really good party on gili t. Loved the music and dance floor on Blue Marlin.

When did you go? Need covid test to go on island....please give details of cost ubud to gili t. I'm doing same route. Did you prebook ferry. Was driver grab? Thxs

Hi Dave, I had to take a rapid test to get on the island because I’ve only had 2 doses of the vaccine, I pre booked my ferry with Bali ferry’s and all hotel transport was included I paid 800IDR for this trip 🙏 I hope this helps you plan your trip

@@callumlakin so if you don't have boaster shot (3 shots) you still need a Antigen test to get to Gili T? Is rule still now? When did you go? So from UBUD hotel to Pier and boat to Gili was 800,000 Rp (or about $95 US?) Is that one way boat ride? Or back to Ubud too?

@@davetravelstheworld hey man, I went 2 weeks ago and I believe the test is still needed if you don’t have 3 doses, it’s 100k for the test and this price is for everything round trip 🙏

@@callumlakin thanks man. Luckily we all have 3 dosages. So your $100k was from Ubud hotel back to Ubud hotel. Much appreciated It will be busier when i go in Aug so will prebook ferry and or driver

@@davetravelstheworld as you may no Bali changes so fast so August could be different the 100k is for the Covid test, you get free hotel transfers when you pre-book
