Whatever you couldn't do with that car, was imposible to do. Giles still holds an absolute all time record on a rally stage here in Gran Canaria, and NO ONE Will ever break it. Everybody still talks about it today. No one could believe his pace.
Good car, but... reminds me of the embarassing times where the FWD cars were as good, or better than the WRC cars on the tarmac rallies. Good thing they made them less powerful after that. WRC should be the premier class.

Pas étonnant que Séb' Loeb en ait fait l'acquisition d'une et l'a faite réviser de A à Z pour courir face à des WRC...
F2's were something else. They were so competitive on tarmac that the FiA put in a intake restrictor and a weight increase to make them less competitive.

I remember as a kid the sound of the french monsters! It help me to fall in love with the cars, it was the Last days of group a, i see delta integrale, escorts, the first subarus an later the 206 but. The sound of the kit cars thundering trought the valley hit me deep! The rally cars of that era were fascinating, not group b or Sandro munari days but very good cars!
I used to follow when i was a kid that i realized that when i was watching i was smiling. I love very much thank you.. Finaly Asfalt master Gilles Panizzi..
