This is my video of the Gillian’s Wonderland Pier carousel off ride. It is PTC 75, built in 1926 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. The “band organ” in the middle is only a replica facade of a Wurlitzer 157 built by Kromer. I got to go to Wonderland one more time before its closure in October to record everything and take all the pictures I needed to. Wonderland Pier is my first amusement park I grew up with and is the entire inspiration for my love of cartoons, carousels and band organ music. Thank you to the wonderful crew over at Wonderland Pier for making my childhood and helping me grow as a person. I will be seeking a way to have this carousel restored and moved to a nearby park so it can continue to thrill generations to come.

Same here, this will always be my favorite carousel because it was the first one I ever rode on and was the entire inspiration for my carousel and band organ interests!🎠

What a beautiful piece of equipment. I really hope that you can preserve this wonderful carousel and re-install it where it may be experienced by many. I'm in Australia and you encourage me to visit a similar carousel at Luna Park in St. Kilda, Melbourne. To my knowledge it does have a playing organ inside. Wonderful memories of my childhood. As for this carousel I filmed, I’m going to see what I can do when I email a local carousel curator to help with its restoration and relocation. And I agree, this beautiful carousel was my very first carousel I grew up with and I’ll be sure to help rescue it!
